New in Lund? Here’s a little introduction to Circle Centre ♻️💚

We’re a community space built around sharing, reuse, and making everyday life a little easier.

At Circle Centre, you can:
🛏️ Borrow useful items from our Library of Goods https://www.circlecentrelund.org/
🍳 Find everything from bedding kits and kitchenware to small appliances
📦 Donate clean, usable items you no longer need
🙌 Volunteer and support the community in different ways

The idea is simple: share more, waste less — while helping students and residents access what they need without always buying new.

📚 The new semester is soon approaching!
We’re getting ready to welcome new students by creating move-in kits. 🏠

Join us for a volunteer day at Circle Centre, where we’ll be putting together move-in kits with bedding and towels to help new students settle into their new homes and start the semester feeling prepared.

Whether you’re a regular volunteer or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you there! Come by anytime during the day and stay for as long as you like! Whether you can help for an hour or stay for the whole day, every bit makes a difference. 💚

Important correction to our previous post:

Regular opening hours on 2 June (17:30–19:00) will continue as usual but the Open House for Volunteers will not take place on that day.

And the next Open House for Volunteers will be on 9 Jun.

Do you have a garment that needs mending? Is there a hole in your bedsheets, pillowcase, or blanket, and you’re not quite sure what to do?

Bring it with you to our visible textile repair workshop with Hållbart Uni on May 28th and learn how to bring it back to life!

At this workshop, you’ll learn how to incorporate three visible mending techniques (patchwork, darning, and sashiko) into your everyday clothing and household textiles, helping you sustain both your wardrobe and the environment.

These hand-sewn methods can be used on a variety of materials, from knitwear to denim, and are accessible to all experience levels.

Learn new skills, meet new people, and enjoy fika, all while restoring the things you love and contributing to a more waste-free future!
