We are a group of master students at Lund university studying Environmental Study and Sustainability Science (LUMES). As a part of our programme, the “Knowledge to Action (K2A)” course encourages us to create a practical project to forward the cause of sustainability. Diving into our theoretical knowledge, we would like to prove how art can help society change or transition to a sustainable living
. This is also related to our understanding of a gap between the academic understanding of sustainability and the public actions, since not many people consider sustainability as part of their daily life.
“Art, us” will try to examine how art assist the communication of sustainability to the public and how art impacts the daily lives of ordinary people.
