授课方式：2021年秋季授课地点和授课方式会在开学之前提前通知，之后会根据疫情发展来调整，可能性方案为远程或实体授课。上课时间为每周六下午2点到4点或周天上午10点到12点，具体时间会根据分班情况有所不同。

Adult Chinese Classes

About the course

Thematic curriculum design, the content revolves around business activities and daily life, highlighting practicality, fun, flexibility and novelty, to meet the learning interests and needs of different students. The purpose of the course is to cultivate students' ability to use Chinese in daily communication as well as cultural exchange occasions and to solve complex problems and tasks in a relaxed and harmonious learning atmosphere.

Characteristics of our teaching

Teach in small class, 4-6 students per class to ensure the quality of teaching.
Focus on topics, start conversations and short stories around daily life.
Combine modern technology to improve Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in various ways.
Provide background and cultural knowledge related to business activities and daily life, and design discussion topics based on this.
Assign Chinese homework or tasks after each class.
Arrange one google classroom for each class, as a supplement and auxiliary to self-learning.

Classes are divided into classes according to the European Common Language Standard A1-C2, and a teaching plan is developed according to the requirements of the Swedish modern language syllabus.

Kids and Teenagers Chinese Classes

Primary Level

A1: This level is suitable to students who never learn Chinese before but can understand a little. It is basicly to let students show their interest in Chinese and get a feeling of the lauguage. You will learn simple Pinyin and Chinese characters.

A2: This is for students who can use Chinse in simple conversions, know a little Pinyin and read some Chinese charaters.

Teaching content and goals

The teaching is in combination with Chinese culture and customs. Let the children have more interest in Chinese during learning and stimulate their passion for the lauguage.
In the end students can use what you have learned to communicate and write simple Chinese characters. The students can have a simple question and answer session with their teacher. They will be able to read texts fluently, make phrases and simple sentences.

Intermediate Level

B1: It is suitable for students who can have simple communications and a certain vocabulary of Chinese characters.

Teaching content and goals

While introducing more Chinese cultural customs and historical allusions, students learn more Chinese characters, sentence patterns and short texts.

B2: It is suitable for students who can read Chinese text books of Intermediate B1 such as Hua Wen Chinese 3 and 4， can communicate with native Chinese without barriers, can make sentences and understand teaching content.

Teaching content and goals

Learn more idioms and longer texts. Learn how to summarize and retell the content of a text. After the course, students can communicate with native speakers on more diverse topics fluently. Students can read and write small essays of more than 150 words. Student can understand Chinese reading materials and simple books.

Advanced Level

C1: It is suitable for students who can read simple Chinese materials and books, and has the ability to understand and retell the content in Chinese.

Teaching content and goals

More systematic study on reading and writing such as letters, etc, will be conducted. Focus on improving students' ability to talk on different topics.
Students will understand Chinese newspapers and magazines, and understand Chinese film and television dramas. A complete speech can be delivered in Chinese.

C2: It is suitable for student who can express herself/himself fluently and talk about more diverse contents. Students who can read Chinese books (equivalent to junior high school level in main land China).

Teaching content and goals

In addition to the content of text book, more attention is paid to forster students to express their opinions on various situations. Students can easily understand written and oral information in Chinese, can effectively express themselves in Chinese both in oral and written forms, can read and understand simple Chinese newspapers.

Yuanpei Chinese School (元培中文学校) was setup in October 2020 registered as a non-profit organization (Org. No.: 802532-9122 ). The school mainly focuses on overseas Chinese teaching for children either coming from Chinese family or those who shows interest in learning Chinese. The school is registered in Lund Sweden and named after the famous Chinese educationalist, Yuanpei Cai (1868 - 1940). The main purpose of the school is to cultivate Chinese learning interest as well as Chinese culture interest in students and help them to improve their Chinese speaking, writing, and reading skills. We hope that every student will enjoy their Chinese learning here. We work hard to provide every students with better Chinese learning environment. We believe in the value of open, pragmatism, and innovation. We keep open-minded, and keep seeking for innovated teaching approaches to improve our teaching quality. The school has been in a good collabration with other Chinese Schools experienced in teaching in Sweden with joint effect to further elevate the overseas Chinese teaching. At the same time, we hope that we can foster qualified overseas Chinese teachers, which can bring benefits to students who wants to learning Chinese.
The management team is responsible for daily operations of the school including teaching activities to make sure everything running smoothly. They also work with teachers to assist them in improving students learning abilities. Moreover, they are also in charge of after school activities to give students more opportunities to learning Chinese together. The school consistantly conducts lauguage teaching in small groups and give every student a chance to interact with teacher during their learning to make sure the teach quality.
