LiU Formula Student - The formula student association at Linköping University We are competing in Formula SAE sanctioned events, as for example Formula Student.

LiU Formula Student is a non-profit students' association at Linköpings University. At present time we consist of about 125 students, both at bachelor level as well as master level, from several different programs and grades. Closely cooperating with the local industries as well as Linköping University, LiU Formula Student annually develops and designs a competition vehicle, which we afterwards co

mpete with against other universities internationally. We have an ongoing goal to make a lasting impression in the tough competition among the participating universities, but also to self-develop - not only as engineers but as individuals as well.

After months of design, manufacturing, testing, and late nights, the moment finally arrived this Friday at roll-out.
Built by students with one shared ambition, to push engineering, teamwork, and performance to the next level.

We want to thank our sponsors, everyone who has supported us throughout this journey, and most importantly every team member who has put enormous effort into making this project possible.

Summer can’t come soon enough. Soon, we’ll see ER26 reach its full potential at NTE, FS Czech, and FS Germany.

We keep pushing forward, step by step. Every late night in the workshop, every iteration, and every challenge we face is part of the journey. We’re constantly learning, from our mistakes, from each other, and from the process itself.
Bit by bit, the car is coming together. What once was just an idea is now taking shape, and with every component we design, test, and refine, we’re getting closer to a finished car. The progress might not always be visible from the outside, but it’s happening every single day.
We’re not there yet, but we’re learning, improving, and moving forward.

The chassis has now been fully painted, marking an important milestone in our journey. After spending the past semester carefully planning, designing, and preparing every part of the project, we have finally moved into the phase where the car is physically starting to come together. This transition from planning to actual construction feels both exciting and rewarding for the entire team.
During the past semester, much of our effort focused on making decisions, developing ideas, and ensuring that everything would be ready for the build phase. Now, we are beginning to see those efforts take shape in a tangible way.
