💔 Baloo is fighting right now… 💔

Our beloved Baloo is not himself. He is weak, exhausted, and we fear he may have become seriously ill from ticks… despite us doing everything we could to protect him. He received both tablets and spot-on treatment, but sometimes even that isn’t enough.

We are on our way to the vet right now, with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes. Seeing him like this is unbearable. He has always been so full of life… 💔

At the same time, we are completely out of funds. The past period has drained us entirely. We fight every day for these animals, but we simply cannot do it alone.

For Baloo, for his treatment, to give him a chance to survive.

And we are terrified that more dogs will get sick… The yard is once again full of ticks, and the only thing that has truly worked well is Bravecto.

We need your help 💔🐾

Our yard is once again full of ticks, and the situation is becoming very serious. Ticks carry dangerous diseases that can severely affect our dogs—especially when you have as many as we do. Protecting them is not a choice, it’s a necessity.

We have tried different tick treatments, but the only one that has given us the best results is Bravecto. To protect all our dogs, we now need to take action—and we can’t do it without you.

💊 Deworming tablets: approx. 180 euro (1,955 SEK)

💉 Vaccines against infectious diseases: approx. 950 euro (9,900 SEK)

🦠 Tick protection (Bravecto, 30 doses shared between the dogs): approx. 1480 euro (16,000 SEK)

This is for a total of 90 dogs who completely depend on us—and on you.

This is a heartbreaking update about Zora.

Zora has now been to the vet… and just like Sunce, she has demodex. Her blood work came back okay, but her body tells another story — she is severely underweight, fragile, and exhausted. It will take a long time for her to truly recover.

She didn’t end up like this overnight.

Every bone you can see, every step she takes, is proof of how long she has been neglected… how long she has been fighting just to survive.

Her nails have finally been trimmed — something so basic, yet something she has gone without for far too long. She has also received Simparica to treat parasites, the first step in a long journey back to health.

Now… she begins again.

Zora — dawn.

A name that means a new beginning.
But this beginning will not be easy. It will take time, care, patience… and love.

Please keep her in your thoughts.
She has survived the darkness — now she needs the chance to truly live.

On Sunday, Sune’s fragile little body gave up.

Just hours earlier, we were at the vet with him. They examined him, took blood tests… and somehow, unbelievably, everything came back normal.
Both the veterinarian and I were in shock.
How could a body so broken, so exhausted, so starved… still show good results?

He was eating. He was drinking water.
There was hope.

The vet told us we could take him home and come back on Tuesday for further examination of the empty spaces where his eyes once were.

We truly believed he would make it.

If the blood tests had shown something different, we would have let him go peacefully at that very first visit.
But there was hope… and we held onto it.

On Sunday, his body couldn’t fight anymore.
We don’t know why.
He just slipped away.

But he did not die alone.
He did not die unseen.
He did not die unloved.

Sune left this world knowing warmth, care, and love. ❤️

Run free, beautiful Sune.
No more pain.
No more suffering.

Rest in peace. 💔

She was given the name Zora.
It means dawn.

We found her in the daylight — but it was clear she had been living in darkness for a long time. A body carrying the weight of everything she had been through. Eyes that had forgotten how to hope. She had learned how to survive — but not how to live.

And yet… right there, something began to change.

Zora.

Dawn.

A name that carries the promise of light after darkness.
Of warmth after cold.
Of a new beginning, even when everything seems lost.

She does not deserve the life she left behind.
She deserves safety. Love. Dignity.
She deserves to fall asleep without fear and wake up without pain.

Zora is not just a dog we found.
She is a reminder of why we must never stop fighting.

Because for every Zora out there…
there is a new beginning waiting to rise.

Today we received a call… with pictures of a sick cat in desperate need of help.
Of course we went.

And there we found Sune.

A tiny body barely able to carry itself. Severely emaciated… every bone is visible.
One eye was completely missing. The other was badly infected… or maybe not even there anymore. It seems like he may have lost both eyes.

How long has he been like this? How long has he been suffering in silence?

We brought him home and I cleaned him as best as I could while waiting for a taxi… my car door is broken and I don’t dare drive long distances.
He managed to eat a little. Just a little… like his body has almost forgotten how.

But he is alive.
And he is fighting.

We are now heading to Belgrade to give him a chance. A chance for medical care. A chance to live.

Please… if you have the possibility, help us help Sune get the care he so desperately needs and deserves 💔

The dog we found has been given the name Sunce – it means “sun” in Serbian.
But right now, there is no light in her eyes… only pain.

She was covered in ticks when we found her. Tiny parasites slowly draining the life out of her.
She was immediately tested for scabies – but she didn’t have it. Instead, she has demodex.
She has now been given Bravecto and will be bathed every third day in the fight to heal.

Her blood tests were okay and the 4D test was negative – a small glimpse of hope in all the darkness.

Soon, at home in a calm and safe environment, we will trim her nails… something she may have never experienced without fear.

But her suffering doesn’t end there.
She also has a vaginal prolapse that needs surgery next week – and she will be spayed at the same time.

We have a long road ahead of us.
A journey to help Sunce not just survive… but to become a DOG again.
To feel safety, love, and warmth.

We will not give up. Never.

My heart is breaking into a thousand pieces.
I cannot understand how anyone can treat a living being this way 💔
