With financing from the European Union's Erasmus + program, we at Reform have been collaborating with the Swedish organization Locker Room Talk. Both our organizations have programs aimed towards boys in sports settings, with the aim of fostering healthier and more inclusive team environments. As a part of this collaboration, we at Reform hosted Locker Room Talk for a workshop here in Oslo to learn more about each others work, and see how we can each improve our programs.
During the workshop we had thoughtful and reflective conversations about how our programs can address the different issues boys are facing today, and how our work can help to improve boys well-being and mental health. The workshop was also a lot of fun! The workshop reflected something that both our programs believe in: it is possible in our programs to create space for boys to reflect on topics that are important to them, and that we can have fun at the same time while doing this.
During 2026 we at Reform will be taking these learnings into our Coaching boys program, and continuing to collaborate with ice hockey teams. If this is something you'd like to learn more about, contact Coaching boys project leader Kelly Fisher.
