We don’t have to live in any special setting—like being remote from other people or renouncing the world—to enjoy our true nature. We can do that if we want to, but it doesn’t produce any cause for realizing our true nature. All lifestyles are primordially pure. We can be a great saint, a computer programmer, a ditch digger, a cake baker or whatever it is, and it’s the perfect circumstance for the realization of our true nature. Indeed, there is no practice or lifestyle that is necessary, and at the same time, no practice or lifestyle is to be excluded.
