A Thousand Hopes is a verified nonprofit on Tradera, Sweden's largest secondhand marketplace. That means anyone can sell their pre-loved items and donate the proceeds directly to our mission: bringing books and learning resources to underserved schools.

Here's how simple it is:

3. List your item as usual. Tradera handles the rest

We can't wait to share photos from the celebrations next week. But for now, here's a glimpse of what your support is making possible, every single day.

Tổ chức phi lợi nhuận A Thousand Hopes (Nghìn Hy Vọng) tại Thụy Điển trân trọng thông báo mở đơn đăng ký cho chương trình tài trợ sách mới cho thư viện trường học còn thiếu thốn về sách phù hợp với nhu cầu học sinh của trường.

Nếu trường của Quý Thầy Cô có nhu cầu được tài trợ sách mới cho thư viện, xin vui lòng điền vào biểu mẫu đính kèm để đăng ký xét duyệt.

Sách tài trợ qua chương trình là sách hoàn toàn mới, được lựa chọn dựa trên danh sách mong muốn từ chính nhà trường, đảm bảo phù hợp chương trình giảng dạy và nhu cầu đọc của các em.

Happy Lunar New Year to our friends who are celebrating!

We didn’t plan this moment, but sometimes the timing feels just right. Today is 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and more than 1,000 books are now starting their way to three rural schools in Vietnam. There are still operational steps and physical distance to cross, but the journey has truly begun.

As we reflect on what it took to get here, we feel deeply grateful. Grateful for our friends, supporters, partners, those we know personally, and those we never meet, but chose to place their trust in us.

Together, these books represent far more than paper and print. They represent a belief that 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.

On this , we’re reminded that progress doesn’t always arrive with perfect planning, but it does arrive through collective effort.

📚 𝗔𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

We’re excited to share that we are now preparing to finalize and will place orders for 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 needed by three rural schools that we've run projects for.

We will temporarily mobilise funds from our “𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺” pool to cover any remaining gaps, so that 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. This allows us to move forward (and lowering delivery costs!).

That said, there are still 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and we warmly welcome supporters who would like to help complete the final titles before orders are placed.
