ترشيح غرف الطوارئ السودانية لجائزة نوبل للسلام

في زمنٍ سكنت فيه أصوات السلام، نهضت غرف الطوارئ في السودان لتكون صوت الضمير ويد العون، فجمعت بين الإنسانية والوطنية في أبهى صورها.
من رحم المعاناة ووسط الدمار والجوع والنزوح، تمددت أيادي الشباب المتطوعين لتغيث، وتطعم، وتُسعف، وتواسي، دون انتظار مقابل أو ضوء كاميرا.

اليوم، ومع إعلان ترشيح غرف الطوارئ السودانية لجائزة نوبل للسلام، يجد العالم نفسه أمام تجربة إنسانية خالصة، صاغها شعبٌ يواجه الحرب بالرحمة، واليأس بالأمل، والموت بالحياة.

وفي جنوب دارفور، كانت الغرف نموذجًا مضيئًا في زمنٍ مظلم — تُسابق الخطر لتصل إلى الجائع والنازح والمريض، وتُعيد تعريف معنى التضامن الشعبي.

هذا الترشيح ليس تكريمًا لغرف الطوارئ فحسب، بل هو اعترافٌ بدور كل سوداني وسودانية حملوا الوطن في قلوبهم، وشاركوا في صنع الحياة وسط الركام.




Sudanese Emergency Rooms Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

At a time when voices of peace were silenced, Sudan's emergency rooms rose to be the voice of conscience and a helping hand, combining humanity and patriotism in their most beautiful form.
From the womb of suffering and amidst destruction, hunger, and displacement, young volunteers reached out to provide aid, feed, provide medical assistance, and console, without expecting anything in return or a camera flash.

Today, with the announcement of the nomination of Sudan's emergency rooms for the Nobel Peace Prize, the world finds itself witnessing a purely humanitarian experience, crafted by a people facing war with compassion, despair with hope, and death with life.

In South Darfur, the rooms were a shining example in a dark time—racing danger to reach the hungry, displaced, and sick, redefining the meaning of popular solidarity.

This nomination is not only an honor for the emergency rooms; it is also a recognition of the role of every Sudanese man and woman who carried the nation in their hearts and participated in creating life amidst the rubble.

غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية – نيالا

مع تزايد أعداد النازحين داخل الولاية، أصبح خطر الجوع يهدد حياة الآلاف في مراكز الإيواء. هؤلاء المتضررون ينتظرون وجبتهم اليومية من المطابخ التي أُنشئت خصيصًا لهم، يرون فيها طوق نجاة أنقذهم من قسوة الجوع.

لكن اليوم، توقفت بعض هذه المطابخ في عدد من المراكز، ليجد النازحون أنفسهم في مواجهة المجهول، لا يعلمون إلى أين يتجهون، إلا أنهم يرفعون أكف الضراعة إلى المولى عز وجل أن يُديم عليهم هذا العون، وألّا تنقطع عنهم يد الخير التي تحفظ لهم الحياة.

إلى كل أصحاب الأيادي البيضاء، وإلى كل من يحمل في قلبه رحمة وإنسانية… هؤلاء النازحون أمانة في أعناقنا جميعًا، ينتظرون دعمكم ليواصلوا صمودهم في وجه الجوع والحرب. ساعدوهم بما تستطيعون، فربما كانت لقمة تسد جوع طفل، أو وجبة تحفظ حياة أسرة كاملة.



Emergency Room and Health Centers - Nyala

With the increasing number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) within the state, the threat of hunger has become a threat to the lives of thousands in shelters. These affected people await their daily meal from kitchens set up specifically for them, seeing them as a lifeline that has saved them from the cruelty of hunger.

But today, some of these kitchens have stopped operating in a number of centers, leaving the displaced people facing the unknown. They don't know where to turn, but they raise their hands in supplication to God Almighty to continue this support and to keep the hand of goodness that preserves their lives from being cut off.

To all those who have generous hands, and to everyone who harbors compassion and humanity in their hearts... These displaced people are a trust upon us all, awaiting your support to continue their resilience in the face of hunger and war. Help them with whatever you can; perhaps a morsel of food could satisfy a child's hunger, or a meal could save the life of an entire family.

غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية – نيالا

نالت غرف الطوارئ في السودان جائزة رافتو لحقوق الإنسان لعام 2025، لتُضاف هذه الجائزة المرموقة إلى سجل إنجازاتها المشرفة. جاء هذا التكريم العالمي تقديرًا للدور الكبير الذي ظلت تقوم به منذ اندلاع الحرب في عام 2023 وحتى اليوم، عبر جهودها المستمرة في إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية للمتضررين في مختلف ولايات السودان.

نشأت غرف الطوارئ استجابةً للأوضاع الإنسانية الطارئة، وتوسعت لتصبح نموذجًا فريدًا للتنظيم المجتمعي القائم على التضامن. يعمل آلاف المتطوعين في هذه الغرف على توفير خدمات أساسية، تشمل:

تقديم الرعاية الصحية الأولية،

تأمين الغذاء والمياه،

متابعة الأوضاع الإنسانية ورصد الاحتياجات،

Emergency Room and Health Centers – Nyala

Sudan's emergency rooms have won the 2025 Rafto Prize for Human Rights, adding this prestigious award to their record of distinguished achievements. This international honor recognizes the significant role they have played since the outbreak of war in 2023, through their ongoing efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to those affected in various states of Sudan.

The emergency rooms were established in response to urgent humanitarian situations and have expanded to become a unique model of solidarity-based community organization. Thousands of volunteers work in these rooms to provide essential services, including:

Providing primary healthcare,

Providing food and water,

Monitoring humanitarian conditions and monitoring needs,

Contributing to preserving human dignity amidst conditions of displacement and suffering.

It is worth noting that Sudan's emergency rooms were nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their exceptional humanitarian efforts based on volunteer work and community cooperation.

With these steps, emergency rooms demonstrate that the spirit of initiative and solidarity can create hope, protect lives, and preserve human dignity in the most difficult circumstances.

🔵 من العطش إلى الاستدامة.. المتطوعون يحولون أزمة المياه في نيالا إلى حياة

نيالا – أكتوبر 2024
مع تفاقم أزمة المياه التي عاشتها مدينة نيالا، واجه السكان تحديًا يوميًا في كيفية تأمين الماء النظيف لكل منزل. وفي ظل هذه الظروف، بادر متطوعو غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية – نيالا بتحويل الأزمة إلى فرصة حقيقية للتغيير المستدام.

بدأت الجهود بالمرحلة الأولى عبر صيانة عاجلة للآبار لضمان استمرار الإمداد المائي. وتضم المحطة الرئيسية في نيالا 10 آبار، منها 5 قريبة من المبنى الرئيسي و5 في منطقة موسيه التي تغذي أحياء شمال ووسط المدينة وحي الوحدة.
وركّز المتطوعون على إعادة تأهيل 4 آبار كبيرة في موسيه، مع مراجعة دقيقة لاحتياجات هيئة المياه، ما عزّز من قدرة المحطة على تلبية الطلب المتزايد وخفّف الضغط على البنية التحتية، الأمر الذي وفّر مياهًا نظيفة بشكل أكثر استقرارًا للسكان.

لكن التحدي الأكبر كان اعتماد المضخات على الوقود التقليدي، الباهظ الثمن وشحيح التوفر، وهو ما دفع للتفكير في حلول طويلة الأمد. فجاءت الطاقة الشمسية كخيار طبيعي للاستدامة. وبالفعل، أطلقت غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية – نيالا المرحلة الأولى بتركيب منظومتين للطاقة الشمسية لعدد 2 بئر، ثم تواصل العمل حتى شمل 4 آبار رئيسية و"بوستر طارد"، بطاقة تشغيلية إجمالية بلغت 104 كيلوواط.

هذا التحول ساهم في:
1️⃣ تقليل الاعتماد على الوقود التقليدي.
2️⃣ خفض التكاليف التشغيلية.
3️⃣ حماية البيئة.
4️⃣ ضمان استمرارية الإمداد المائي بصورة طبيعية.

بهذا التسلسل – من الصيانة والتأهيل إلى إدخال الطاقة الشمسية – أصبح المشروع نموذجًا للاستدامة في إدارة المياه، يربط بين الاستجابة العاجلة وبناء مستقبل آمن، ويؤكد أن الماء ليس مجرد حل مؤقت للأزمة بل استثمار طويل الأمد في حياة السكان وحقهم في الماء النظيف.

لقد أثبت متطوعو نيالا أن الإرادة والتفاني قادرة على تحويل الأزمات إلى فرص حقيقية للتغيير المستدام، وأن حماية المياه مسؤولية إنسانية جماعية تحفظ الحياة حتى في أصعب الظروف.

💧 الماء ليس مجرد مورد… بل هو حياة.








🔵 From Thirst to Sustainability... Volunteers Transform Nyala's Water Crisis into Life

Nyala – October 2024
As the water crisis in Nyala worsened, residents faced a daily challenge in securing clean water for every home. Under these circumstances, volunteers from the Emergency Room and Health Centers in Nyala took the initiative to transform the crisis into a real opportunity for sustainable change.

The first phase of efforts began with urgent maintenance of wells to ensure a continuous water supply. The main station in Nyala includes 10 wells, five of which are close to the main building and five in the Musya area, which supply the northern and central neighborhoods of the city, as well as the Al-Wahda neighborhood.
Volunteers focused on rehabilitating four large wells in Musya, with a careful review of the Water Authority's needs. This enhanced the station's capacity to meet the growing demand and eased pressure on the infrastructure, providing residents with more consistent clean water.

However, the biggest challenge was the pumps' reliance on traditional fuel, which is expensive and scarce. This prompted consideration of long-term solutions. Solar energy emerged as a natural option for sustainability. Indeed, the Emergency Room and Health Centers in Nyala launched the first phase by installing two solar energy systems for two wells. Work then expanded to include four main wells and a booster pump, with a total operating capacity of 104 kilowatts.

This transformation contributed to:
1. Reducing reliance on traditional fuels.
2. Reducing operating costs.
3. Protecting the environment.
4. Ensuring the continuity of the water supply naturally.

With this sequence—from maintenance and rehabilitation to the introduction of solar energy—the project became a model for sustainable water management, linking urgent response with building a secure future. It emphasized that water is not just a temporary solution to a crisis, but a long-term investment in the lives of residents and their right to clean water.

Nyala volunteers have proven that willpower and dedication can transform crises into real opportunities for sustainable change, and that protecting water is a collective human responsibility that preserves life even in the most difficult circumstances.

بعد فترة توقف، تم استئناف عمل خمسة مطابخ جماعية داخل مراكز الإيواء ضمن جهود غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية / نيالا، لتوفير وجبات أساسية للنازحين في المراكز التالية :
■ السافنا
■ الزهراء
■ السلام
■ الخير
■ المقداد

كل وجبة تُقدم تمثل رسالة أمل ودعم لمن هم في أمسّ الحاجة إليها. لنجعل كل يد تساعد فرق الأمل إلى المزيد من الناس.

After a period of hiatus, five collective kitchens have resumed operations within shelters as part of the efforts of the Emergency Room and Health Centers in Nyala, providing basic meals to displaced persons in the following centers:
■ Al-Safana
■ Al-Zahraa
■ Al-Salam
■ Al-Khair
■ Al-Muqdad

Every meal provided represents a message of hope and support for those most in need. Let's make every helping hand contribute to the Hope Teams' reach more people.

قال تعالى:
﴿وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ ۝ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ﴾ [البقرة: 155-156]

بقلوب مؤمنة وراضية بقضاء الله وقدره، ينعي جميع متطوعي غرفة الطوارئ والمراكز الصحية – نيالا فقيدهم وزميلهم الباشمهندس (مبارك يحيى)، الذي وافته المنية إثر حادث أليم أثناء تأديته لواجبه في صيانة سقف جبلون المحطة الرئيسية بهيئة مياه نيالا.

لقد فقدنا برحيله زميلاً مخلصًا، ومهنيًا متفانيًا، سيظل أثره الطيب وإخلاصه شاهدين على مسيرته النبيلة وعطائه الكبير.

نسأل الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، ويسكنه فسيح جناته مع الصديقين والشهداء، ويلهم أهله وزملاءه وذويه الصبر والسلوان.
