Samaritan Aid Organization (SAO) was established in 2014 and registered to humanitarian aid commission (HAC) South Darfur state, Nyala office in the same year as national nongovernmental organization (NNGO) which is voluntary non-political, no-profitable and non-religious organization. The Organization is a humanitarian organization whose vision is ‘To promote peace, Development and Community Empo
werment for All” among the different communities of South Darfur state regardless of locality, ethnic origin or religious affiliation. SAO has an outstanding experience in implementing projects that have quick impacts including rehabilitation and fixation of hand pumps as well as training of water user’s committees to affirmed better management and maintenance of the rehabilitated asset to ensure the sustainability of the project. SAO build sound capacities based on the past experience in the field of Primary health care, Food security and livelihood, Education, Peace building and WaSH.
