Topic: Building Responsible and Ethical LLMs
Badr AlKhamissi is a PhD candidate at EPFL whose work bridges human cognition, responsible AI, and cultural alignment. His interdisciplinary research focuses on designing machine learning systems that better reflect human behavior and cognition, drawing from neuroscience and cognitive science. He previously served as an AI Resident at Meta AI, contributed to Apertus, and worked as a Research Intern at Sony AI. Badr holds an MSc in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BSc in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo.

بدر الخميسي مرشح دكتوراه في EPFL، وبيجمع في أبحاثو بين نمذجة الإدراك البشري، والذكاء الاصطناعي المسؤول، والتوافق الثقافي. تركيزو على تطوير أنظمة تعلم آلي أقرب للسلوك والإدراك البشري مستفيداً من علوم الأعصاب والعلوم الإدراكية. عمل سابقاً كمقيم في Meta AI، وساهم في Apertus، وكان متدرب بحثي في Sony AI. وهو حاصل على ماجستير في علوم الأعصاب الإدراكية الحاسوبية من جامعة غولدسميث – لندن، وبكالوريوس في علوم الحاسوب من الجامعة الأمريكية في القاهرة.
