Alhamdulillah 🤍 Our First Iftar in Khartoum This Ramadan

As civilians slowly begin returning to Khartoum, Sarra’s Charity was honored to host our first community iftar in the city this year.

During a time when many families are rebuilding their lives and returning to uncertain conditions, moments like these remind us of the true spirit of Ramadan — community, compassion, and shared blessings.

With the support of our donors and volunteers, dozens were able to gather at sunset to break their fast together and share a warm meal.

Every plate served is more than food — it is a message of hope, solidarity, and care for those returning home.

May Allah accept from everyone who helped make this possible.

Al-Ihsan Program – Food Meals for the Elderly and People with Disabilities

Kadugli Market | January 2026

As part of the Al-Ihsan (Compassion) Program, Sarra’s Charity distributed food meals to elderly individuals and people with disabilities at Kadugli Market in January 2026.

This initiative aims to support some of the most vulnerable members of our community by ensuring access to nutritious meals, dignity, and care during these difficult times. After three months of travel through Ethiopia, these sanitary pads and underwear finally reached women and girls in Sudan — thanks to the generosity of Giving Hope & Help and the dedication of Sarra’s Charity.

In the midst of war, getting basic necessities to women and girls is an uphill battle. Supply chains are cut, borders are closed, and every delivery faces unimaginable delays and risks. Yet, this is more than just delivering items — it’s about restoring dignity, health, and hope to those who need it most.

🎀✨ Raising Awareness, Saving Lives ✨🎀

Sarra’s Charity hosted a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness workshop back in October. 💕

In collaboration with the Hawadat Street Initiative and the Youth for Our Country Association, this workshop brought together 40 dedicated male and female students, equipping them to lead awareness campaigns in their communities.

The trained participants engaged in educational and outreach activities, spreading vital information about early detection, prevention, and support for those affected by breast cancer. Together, we’re fostering a community of awareness and hope.
