Alight celebrated World Humanitarian Day across 6 states (Port-Sudan, Kassala, Gedarif, East Darfur, South Darfur and West Kordofan) 🎉🎈

From safe water to household hygiene support, Alight’s West Kordofan cholera response strengthened WASH to reduce transmission for communities in July 2026.

📊 July WASH Snapshot (West Kordofan):
💦 Water chlorinated or supplied: 1,002,964 liters
🏡 Households supported with chlorine tablets: 1,450

✨ With support, Alight continues improving safe water, sanitation, and hygiene to stop cholera spread.

From cholera treatment and prevention to lifesaving follow-up, in Alight cholera response has supported health interventions for 838 cumulative admissions (to the end of July 2026)

🇸🇩 A Milestone for Sudan's Children
Alight, as part of the immunization consortium with SCI and IMC, contributed to developing this strategy and officially signed the NIS 2026-2030 alongside the Federal Ministry of Health.💉

In remote communities across & , access to healthcare isn't guaranteed. Through our Mass Routine Vaccination Campaign, supported by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, ALIGHT deployed mobile teams to reach children who had missed essential immunizations.
