This well-deserved victory marks them as the official representatives of Sudan, following a fierce competition against the brightest minds and elite teams from various Sudanese universities.

Our team navigated a challenging journey, and through the brilliance of their vision and the impact of their project "Aafia Pad", they secured the title. They now carry the honor of being the sole official representatives of Sudan in the upcoming global stages of the competition. 🇸🇩

This triumph was not a coincidence; it is the culmination of months of intensive training, relentless effort, and unwavering dedication. As we celebrate this victory, we extend our deepest gratitude to our champions in Team (Astro Med), who raised the name of the International University of Africa high and proved that innovation and excellence truly run in our students' veins. ✨

Evergreen

An environmental project built on the concept of the circular economy, transforming food waste and organic leftovers from restaurants and markets into what is known as “black gold” — high-quality organic compost.

The project addresses one of the most pressing environmental challenges: methane emissions resulting from the decomposition of organic waste, in addition to soil degradation and declining fertility.

By recycling waste and converting it into an effective agricultural resource, the team aims to reduce environmental impact, support sustainable agriculture, and deliver a practical solution that combines ecological benefit with economic viability.

Team Evergreen earned this position through a clear vision and a well-articulated approach that reflects a deep understanding of climate and sustainability issues.

اختتمنا يوم الثلاثاء 24 فبراير ورشة “Honing Your Pitch” التي قدّمها المدرب Joyeux Shalom، وذلك ضمن المسار التدريبي لنسخة Hult Prize IUA 2026.

جاءت هذه الورشة لتعزز أهمية صقل مهارات الإلقاء وتحسين جودة العرض التقديمي، حيث أن الفكرة القوية تحتاج إلى أداء متقن يعكس ثقة الفريق ووضوح رؤيته. فالقدرة على تقديم Pitch احترافي، مُحكم ومؤثر، تمثل عاملاً حاسماً في ترك انطباع قوي لدى لجنة التحكيم والشركاء المحتملين.

تناولت الجلسة محاور أساسية شملت:
• تطوير مهارات الإلقاء وبناء الثقة أثناء العرض
• تحسين وضوح الرسالة وتركيزها

On Tuesday, February 24, we concluded the workshop “Honing Your Pitch” delivered by Coach Joyeux Shalom, as part of the Hult Prize IUA 2026 training track.

The session emphasized the importance of refining pitching skills and elevating presentation performance. A strong idea requires a confident and compelling delivery to truly stand out. Mastering pitch performance is essential in creating a lasting impression on judges and potential partners.

The workshop covered key areas including:
