Beacons of Hope: A Positive Turn in Sudan’s Crisis

🌟 Great News from Sudan! Amidst the turmoil, a ray of hope shines through for the youngest and most vulnerable. The orphans have been successfully evacuated and are now en route to safety in Port Sudan. The evacuation was a coordinated effort between multiple INGOs. Our team has been coordinating closely with all involved and the management of the orphanage to ensure the safety of these children.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraiser. Your support has been crucial in this mission, and it will continue to be vital as we embark on the next phase of support for these children in PortSudan.

💊 As the displaced populations from Al Gazeera state seek refuge in new cities, FAH remains committed to supporting healthcare facilities in these areas. Our efforts to provide medical aid and resources will carry on, ensuring those affected receive the care they need.

Today marks the somber milestone of Day 101 of the conflict in Sudan. Behind the statistics lie stories of the shattered lives of innocent civilians. A child is killed every hour. Over 19 million people are pushed into the brink of hunger. Many have been forced to flee their homes, with 650,000 crossing borders and 2.4 million internally displaced. And amid this chaos, the horrifying surge of sexual violence is a grim testament to the war's catastrophic impact on women.

Our hearts go out to our families in Sudan, who are suffering from escalating violence and atrocities. The situation in Al Genina is particularly dire, with over 5,000 deaths and 8,000 injuries. Unbearably, more than 70 confirmed cases of sexual violence have been linked to the RSF.

FAH strongly condemns these heinous acts and is committed to providing aid to the affected hospitals in Khartoum, Madani, Halfa, Dongola, Port Sudan, and Al Genina.

However, we need your help to continue this work.

During our hiatus, our team at Fill A Heart has been working behind the scenes on The Life Project, during which we built and distributed small businesses to families in need, allowing them to generate a stable source of income, thus giving them a chance to have a better quality of life.

Our priority has been and still is to aid those in need and assist in bringing about transformation to our communities.
