MedSIN - RMSA The official page of MedSIN-RMSA. It's a Local Member Organization part of MedSIN-Sudan It stands for “Ribat Medical Students Association”.

RMSA is a LMO (Local Member Organization) under the NMO (National Member Organization) MedSIN-Sudan. RMSA was founded March 2005 by Ahmed Abdulhakam, and he was named the first president of RMSA. It was formerly/purposely made to provide training programs for the medical students of The National Ribat University. MedSIN RMSA was and always will be known for its well regulated Polices and time mana

gement, remarkable determination, Gratitude and respect towards others. We plan to always keep it this way. Apart from all the formalities, RMSA is a fun, kind and social LMO. We believe knowledge starts with creativity. It is strongly appreciated and encouraged. One of our main goals is to Help Promote and Make great Leaders, whom are characterized as Single-minded, Committed and Confident Medical Students (Future doctors too).

Dear MedSIN-RMSA members,
Eid Mubarak and Hope you’re having a great evening as well.🧡

Getting an activity enrolled within IFMSA is a remarkable achievement that demands a clear vision, planning, and alignment with public and global health priorities. It is a process designed to ensure that initiatives contribute meaningfully to international efforts, creating a tangible impact beyond local communities.

What began as an idea, driven by passion and dedication, has now reached the global stage! I am incredibly proud to announce that Both of our local activities have been officially enrolled under IFMSA Programs.
Break the outbreak under communicable diseases program and EquiHealth Trilogy under health system Program✨🧡.

This journey was not without its difficulties. It required countless hours of planning, coordination, and belief in our mission. But today, we celebrate knowing that our work is now part of a global movement dedicated to creating sustainable change.🧡

This achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional dedication of my local team Raghad and Safiya, the invaluable support of fellow Team of Officials and the steadfast guidance of our Executive Board members. Our shared vision have brought us to this moment, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

[FYI][Sharing a recap of MedSIN-RMSA Annual Iftar 2025]

Dear RMSA Family,
I hope my message finds you well❤️.

As I write this message, I have mixed feelings. On the 15th of April, the war started in Sudan, 2 weeks before the war, we had RMSA last Iftar in Khartoum. During the period from the 15th of April and until the day I'm writing this message we went through lots of doubts and challenges, our annual Iftar represents more than just a gathering, it's a safe space, a place where we exchange experiences, recive mentorship and make memories. On the 20th of March, we held the Iftar in several locations. we know that MedSIN-RMSA will always be in our hearts, and we will carry the legacy wherever we go. The Iftar this year represents one more thing, which is resilience and hope.

We would like to thank all the members who have attended, the family vibes will always remain as this organisation continues, and special shout out to all who assisted in the organisation and coordination of the iftars in different locations & for MedSIN-RMSA Alumni for the continuous Support. The family we have built will always remain, and the love that binds us will outlast every hardship.

And so, we hold onto hope. May the next Iftar bring us back to Khartoum, to the home we dream of, to the future we are determined to reclaim ❤️

We were pleased to witness the motivation and dedication of all the applicants during the first two calls, it's truly inspiring to see how resilient our members are and If you missed the the previous calls then I would like to announce that you still have one last opportunity to join the Team of Officials for the term 24/25 and be a leader and change maker.

To those who are ready to embrace this challenge, I encourage you to apply for one of the available positions listed below. Your dedication and enthusiasm will be the driving force behind our continued success.

Positions available are the following:
1- President.
2- Vice-President for External Affairs (VPE).
3- Local Exchange Officer (LEO).
4- Local Officer on Human Rights and Peace (LORP).
