​On July 20th, 2026, KaMSA SCORA stood together for an incredibly powerful and eye-opening session on Child Marriage a critical issue that touches our society deeply, especially amidst the current conflict in Sudan.
​The energy was truly unmatched! Our members brought top-tier enthusiasm, actively participating in deep, passionate, and interactive discussions.
​Together, discuss :

🔹 The current situation amid the conflict in sudan.

في 20 يوليو 2026، اجتمع أعضاء منظمة كامسا سكورا في جلسة مؤثرة ومُلهمة للغاية حول زواج الأطفال، وهي قضية بالغة الأهمية تمس مجتمعنا بعمق، لا سيما في ظل الصراع الدائر في السودان.

كانت الأجواء حماسية للغاية! أظهر أعضاؤنا حماسًا كبيرًا، وشاركوا بفعالية في مناقشات عميقة وتفاعلية.

As part of our activities, we are glad to share the successful collaboration of the ECAP Workshop between KaMSA and RuMSA, which took place from 3/6/2026 to 9/6/2026.
​The workshop focused on two main pillars:
​First: The workshop aimed to raise awareness about important topics to change misconceptions related to FGM in our community, alongside understanding the concept of GBV in healthcare settings, technology-facilitated GBV, and GBV prevention, response, and survivors support that are vital for developing our community.
​Second: The workshop aimed to develop the participants to become good leaders and future Local Officers of the standing committee. The sessions improved the participants' skills by providing full information related to:
​Creative and analytical thinking
​Members recruitment and engagement
​Leadership skills and team building
​Time and conflict management
​Google Suite
​Activity management
​Application writing
The workshop participants included SCORA members and members from other standing committees, because we firmly believe that developing other standing committees ultimately means developing SCORA🔥🔥😍🫶

As part of our awareness Activities, we successfully conducted a Maternal Health Session on 23rd May 2026.
The session aimed to raise awareness and enhance members’ knowledge about maternal health and its importance in building healthy families and communities. During the session, we discussed: • Definition of Maternal Health
• Maternal Health Services, including Emergency Obstetric Care
• Maternal Health Situation and Global Actions
• Maternal Health Situation in Sudan
• Determinants of Maternal Health
• Impact and Consequences of Poor Maternal Health
• Maternal Health Complications and Maternal Mortality
The session also encouraged participants to actively engage in community outreaches, discussions, and campaigns related to maternal health awareness and advocacy.
Maternal health is not only about mothers’ well-being, but also about protecting lives, strengthening communities, and creating a healthier future for all.

With immense pride and gratitude, we concluded our participation in the International Women's Day celebration, sponsored by Plan International in an inspiring collaboration with several youth groups and NGOs at the "Cultural Village."
Over three days (March 28th – 30th), the Downtown Park was transformed into a vibrant hub of activity, where we gathered to celebrate women in a manner that truly honors them. ✨
📍 A Glimpse into the Event Highlights:
It wasn't just a bazaar; it was an integrated space that combined:
Supporting Projects: A distinguished shopping bazaar dedicated to supporting female entrepreneurs and women-led businesses.
Health First: A comprehensive corner dedicated to boosting health awareness among women, covering general, mental, and reproductive health in a simplified, scientific manner.
Legal Awareness: A specialized corner discussing women's rights and the legal frameworks that protect their ambitions.
Our Proud Heritage: The "Celebrating Sudanese Women" corner, which showcased the success stories of my country's women across different generations and eras.
Meaningful Dialogues: Closed panel sessions that addressed women's issues with depth and transparency.

We were honored to organize and host the Health Corner, where our goal was to promote comprehensive health awareness for women. Our team focused on providing valuable insights in:
1. General Health: Because your well-being is the foundation of your journey.
2. Mental Health:Recognizing the importance of psychological balance in facing life's challenges.
3. Reproductive and Sexual Health: To raise health literacy through a simplified, scientific approach.

بمزيج من الفخر والاعتزاز، اختتمنا مشاركتنا في احتفالية يوم المرأة العالمي، التي أقيمت برعاية منظمة بلان العالمية وبتعاون ملهم مع مجموعة من الجهات الشبابية والمنظمات في "القرية الثقافية".

-على مدار ثلاثة أيام (من 28 وحتى 30 مارس)، تحول متنزه وسط المدينة إلى شعلة من النشاط، حيث اجتمعنا لنحتفي بالمرأة بطريقة تليق بها. ✨

📍 جولة في زوايا الفعالية:
لم يكن مجرد بازار، بل كان مساحة متكاملة تجمع بين:
-دعم المشاريع: بازار تسوق مميز لدعم رائدات الأعمال والمشاريع النسائية.
-الصحة أولاً: ركن متكامل لتعزيز الوعي الصحي لدى المرأة، شمل التوعية بالصحة العامة، النفسية، والإنجابية بأسلوب علمي مبسط.
-الوعي القانوني: ركن خاص ناقش حقوق المرأة والجانب القانوني الذي يحمي طموحاتها.
-إرثنا الفخور: ركن "احتفاء بالسودانيات" الذي استعرض قصص نجاح نساء بلادي عبر مختلف الأجيال والعصور.
-حوارات هادفة: جلسات نقاشية مغلقة تناولت قضايا المرأة بعمق وشفافية.

🩺 بصمتنا :
تشرفنا بتنظيم وتقديم ركن الصحة، حيث كان هدفنا تعزيز الوعي الصحي الشامل للمرأة. ركز فريقنا على تقديم معلومات قيمة في:
١. الصحة العامة: لأن عافيتكِ هي أساس انطلاقك.
٢. الصحة النفسية: لأهمية التوازن النفسي في مواجهة تحديات الحياة.
٣. الصحة الإنجابية والجنسية: لرفع مستوى الوعي الصحي بأسلوب علمي ومبسط.

As part of our awareness activities, a session on Endometriosis was held yesterday, 18 March 2026.

The session aimed to highlight one of the most common yet underdiagnosed gynecological conditions, which many women experience silently due to limited awareness and the normalization of severe symptoms.
The discussion covered:
An overview of endometriosis and its pathophysiology
Common symptoms such as severe menstrual pain, chronic pelvic pain, and its potential impact on fertility
The psychological and social burden associated with the condition
The importance of not normalizing severe pain
The value of early medical consultation
The session also emphasized our role in promoting health awareness, breaking the stigma surrounding women’s health, and supporting affected individuals within the community.
We believe that awareness is the first step toward early diagnosis, better management, and improved quality of life.

ضمن أنشطتنا التوعوية، أُقيمت بالأمس جلسة حول بطانة الرحم المهاجرة (Endometriosis)، وذلك يوم 18 مارس 2026.

هدفت الجلسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أحد أكثر الأمراض النسائية شيوعًا وتأخرًا في التشخيص، والذي تعاني بسببه العديد من النساء بصمت نتيجة ضعف الوعي المجتمعي والتقليل من خطورة الأعراض.
تناولت الجلسة:
التعريف بمرض بطانة الرحم المهاجرة وآلية حدوثه
الأعراض الشائعة مثل الألم الشديد أثناء الدورة الشهرية، الألم المزمن في الحوض، وتأثيره المحتمل على الخصوبة
التأثيرات النفسية والاجتماعية المصاحبة للمرض
أهمية عدم اعتبار الألم الشديد أمرًا طبيعيًا
ضرورة التوجه المبكر لطلب الاستشارة الطبية
كما أكدت الجلسة على دورنا في نشر الثقافة الصحية، وكسر حاجز الصمت المرتبط بصحة المرأة، وتعزيز الدعم المجتمعي للمصابات.
نؤمن بأن رفع الوعي هو الخطوة الأولى نحو تشخيص مبكر، ورعاية أفضل، وجودة حياة أعلى للنساء.

The session aimed to establish a clear and unified understanding of SCORA’s identity, mandate, and operational framework. It served as an internal orientation to ensure that members begin the term with clarity, alignment, and a shared vision.
The session covered:
• SCORA Vision and Mission
• Core Objectives and strategic direction
• Focus Areas and thematic priorities
• The structural progression of SCORA from IFMSA at the international level down to the National and Local levels
• The internal structure of the office and members’ roles and responsibilities
The session was presented by Ibrahim Khareef and Mahmoud Mohammed.
