SCORP has conducted a session today 11/8 under the title (Human trafficking When medicine meets exploitation) aiming to introduce KaMSA SCORP members to the the concept of human trafficking and organ donation under the concept of human rights and to reflect the vulnerability that a lot of people around the world are facing.

Session outlines:
- What is human and organs
-Elements of trafficking
-Distinguish trafficking from smuggling
-What to do if you face trafficking victim

The session was very interactive and full with energy thanks for all our members.

Dear SCORPions
As the human trafficking emerge as a huge non humanitarian issue especially in our country that face a lot of human rights violations it's being our utmost responsibility to introduce our members to this issue.
As you are a medical students definitely you understand the concept of organ trafficking or at least you heard about it, organ trafficking is another issue the deprive many humans from their health right letting many people stole the others organs that are required for them to live a normal life.

Human rights is one of our most important sections, as the war is going on and our country is facing a hard situation; we feel that it’s our responsibility to raise the awareness of our students and members about the concepts that are very important to support the peacebuilding and the role of the cessation of the war.
We believe that we as medical students and future doctors have an audible voice and convincing power, so we should use them in the right way to benefit our community and country.

Who can apply?
All KaMSA members who are interset in peacebuilding and especially KaMSA SCORP members

In the way of implement SCORP mission and vision we were glad to conduct a session on 10th of May in the ministry of Youth and Sport hall, under the title of Human Rights and SDGs facilitated by KaMSA LORP Dalal Abdelaziz and National SCORP CBDA Gusai Osama.
The number of the attendees exceeded 20 participants who were very interactive and the session had shown a huge participation and an informative discussion.
The session had covered the following pillars:
-What are Human Rights
-History of Human rights
-Principles of Human rights
-SDGs definition and description
-Connection between SDGs and Human rights.
Thanks for all attendees and for the ministry of Youth and peace for their support.

ما هي حقوق الإنسان؟ 🤔
حقوق الإنسان هي مجموعة من الحقوق الأساسية التي يمتلكها كل إنسان لمجرد كونه إنسانًا، بغضّ النظر عن جنسيته أو دينه أو عرقه أو جنسه.
تهدف هذه الحقوق إلى ضمان الكرامة، الحرية، والمساواة لجميع البشر.
تضمنت هذه الحقوق فيما يعرف ب:
الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان وهو وثيقة دولية مهمة أصدرتها الأمم المتحدة في 10 ديسمبر 1948، بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية، بهدف حماية كرامة الإنسان ومنع تكرار المآسي والانتهاكات.
يتكوّن من 30 مادة يشمل الحقوق المدنية والسياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية يُعتبر مرجعًا عالميًا لحقوق الإنسان.

يُحتفل بـ اليوم العالمي للمرأة في الثامن من شهر مارس من كل عام، وهو يوم مخصص لتكريم المرأة والاعتراف بدورها الكبير في المجتمع، وللتأكيد على حقوقها وإنجازاتها في مختلف المجالات. ويعد هذا اليوم فرصة لتسليط الضوء على قضايا المرأة والعمل على تحقيق المساواة بينها وبين الرجل في الحقوق والفرص.
نحن في لجنتنا نؤمن ان للنساء حقوق يجب ان يتمتعن بها لاسيما في مجال الصحة والتعليم والتوظيف دون اي انحياز او تمييز فقط بناء على الحوجة والكفاءة ولأن تعليم المراة يعد ضمان لإنتاج جيل متعلم وقادر على تحقيق الابداع ولأننا نؤمن ان الأم مدرسة.
نحتفل اليوم بأبطال مجتمعنا السوداني من نساء ونخص على وجه التحديد طالبات الطب والطبيبات راعيات الصحة والسلامة في مجتمعنا ونختص جداً قادات جمعيتنا من سيدات هن عنوان للمثابرة والامل والتضحية والمحاماة، اللاتي يسعين ليل نهار لدعم المجتمع ورفع وعيه بشتى القضايا والاشكال.
تشكركم لجنتكم الدائمة لحقوق الانسان والسلام على مجهوداتكم وتتمنى لكم دوام التوفيق والتمييز، كما تظهر كامل دعمها لكم.

استهالت اللجنة الدائمة لحقوق الانسان والسلام بالأمس اولى فعالياتها حيث اقيمت المحاضرة التعريفية باللجنة وبحضور تجاوز ال 20 فرداً شهدت نجاحاً ملموساً وتفاعلاً كبيراً من قبل الاعضاء حيث احتوت المحاضرة على:
-ما هو مكتب SCORP
-تاريخ اللجنة الدائمة
-الرؤية والهدف
-ما هي جمعية IFMSA
-محاور عمل واهتمامات اللجنة
نأمل ان تكون بداية لدورة موفقة ومليئة بالنجاحات كما نشكر جميع الاعضاء الذين ابدوا اهتمامهم وكانوا على حضور في فعالياتنا الاولى.
