A message of thanks through art

Sarah Awad ElKarim, a young artist from Kassala , shared her gratitude through a beautiful drawing.

After joining a 5-day Drawing Training for people with disabilities, Sarah learned that the training was supported by the Italian people. As a thank-you, she created a portrait of Giorgia Meloni to show her appreciation for this support.

عبّرت الفنانة الشابة سارة عوض الكريم، من كسلا، عن امتنانها من خلال رسمة جميلة.

بعد انضمامها إلى دورة تدريبية في الرسم لمدة خمسة أيام للاشخاص ذوي الاعاقة علمت سارة أن هذه الدورة مدعومة من الشعب الإيطالي. وكعربون شكر، رسمت بورتريه لجورجيا ميلوني تقديرًا لهذا الدعم.

اختتمت قادرون بنجاح دورة تدريبية في الرسم استفاد منها ٢٠ شابًا وشابة من ذوي الإعاقة في كسلا بتاريخ ٢٤ يونيو ٢٠٢٦، لتعزيز حقهم في التعبير الفني والمشاركة في الحياة العامة.

حضرت حفل الختام السيدة أميرة، مدير عام وزارة الثقافة، التي أكدت على أهمية تمكين ذوي الإعاقة من إبراز مواهبهم وإبداعاتهم.

تم تنفذ هذا النشاط بالشراكة مع الجمعية الإيطالية للتضامن بين الشعوب (AISPO) وبتمويل من الوكالة الإيطالية للتعاون الإنمائي (AICS) ضمن مشروع يدعم الصحة والتعليم والتمكين الاقتصادي وإدماج ذوي الإعاقة في سوق العمل في كسلا.

Gaderon successfully closed an art training on drawing for 20 young people with disabilities in Kassala on 24 June 2026, promoting their right to artistic expression and participation in public life.

The closing ceremony was attended by Ms. Amira, General Director of the Ministry of Culture, highlighting the importance of empowering people with disabilities to showcase their talents and creativity.

This activity was implemented in partnership with the Italian Association for Solidarity Among Peoples (AISPO) and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) as part of a project supporting health, education, economic empowerment, and labor market inclusion for people with disabilities in Kassala.

Together, we continue to promote the rights of people with disabilities.

-participatory-theater for deaf youth in Kassala

On 15 June 2026, in Kassala City, Gaderon successfully concluded a training on participatory theater for deaf youth in Kassala, aimed at promoting the rights of persons with disabilities and enhancing their participation in cultural and public life.

The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Amira, the general manager of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. During the event, the "Nabd Eleshara Theatre Arts Group" received an official registration certificate, becoming the first registered theater group in Sudan to use sign language as a tool for awareness and social change.

This achievement marks an important step toward fostering inclusion, self-expression, and equal opportunities for people with disabilities.

Gaderon has implemented, in partnership with the Italian Association for Solidarity Among Peoples (AISPO) and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the project.

"Supporting Access to Health and Education Services, Economic Empowerment, and Labor Market Integration for People with Disabilities in Port Sudan and Kassala" (AID 12144).

Together, we are promoting the rights of people with disabilities.

مناصرة المسرح التشاركي للشباب الصم في كسلا

في الخامس عشر من يونيو 2026، اختتمت قادرون بنجاح في مدينة كسلا الدورة التدريبية حول المسرح التشاركي للشباب الصم، بهدف تعزيز حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وتوسيع نطاق مشاركتهم في الحياة الثقافية والعامة.

شرفت حفل الختام السيدة أميرة، مدير عام وزارة الثقافة. وخلال الفعالية، استلمت "فرقة نبض الإشارة للفنون المسرحية" شهادة تسجيل رسمية، لتصبح بذلك أول فرقة مسرحية مسجلة في السودان تستخدم لغة الإشارة كأداة للتوعية والتغيير الاجتماعي.

يمثل هذا الإنجاز خطوة هامة نحو تعزيز الإدماج والتعبير عن الذات وتكافؤ الفرص للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

نفذت قادرون هذا المشروع بالشراكة مع الجمعية الإيطالية للتضامن بين الشعوب وبتمويل من الوكالة الإيطالية للتعاون الإنمائي.

دعم الوصول إلى خدمات الصحة والتعليم، والتمكين الاقتصادي، ودمج الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في سوق العمل في كسلا.

AISPOEmpowering Persons with Disabilities Through Skills Development

On June 10, 2026, in Kassala, Gaderon successfully concluded two vocational training courses designed to enhance the skills and economic opportunities of persons with disabilities.

The first training focused on local weaving skills and benefited eight blind men, equipping them with practical skills to support their livelihoods.

The second training provided henna design skills for eight women with disabilities, creating new opportunities for income generation and self-employment.

These trainings were implemented in partnership with the Italian Association for Solidarity Among Peoples (AISPO) and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

The activities were conducted under the project “Supporting Access of Persons with Disabilities to Health and Education Services, Economic Empowerment, and Labor Market Inclusion in Port Sudan and Kassala” (AID 12144), which aims to promote inclusion, independence, and sustainable economic participation for persons with disabilities.
تمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من خلال تنمية المهارات

في العاشر من يونيو/حزيران 2026، اختتمت منظمة "جاديرون" بنجاح دورتين تدريبيتين مهنيتين في كسلا، بهدف تعزيز مهارات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وفرصهم الاقتصادية.

ركزت الدورة الأولى على مهارات النسيج المحلية، واستفاد منها ثمانية رجال مكفوفين، حيث زودتهم بمهارات عملية لدعم سبل عيشهم.

أما الدورة الثانية، فقد درّبت ثماني نساء من ذوات الإعاقة على فن نقش الحناء، مما أتاح لهن فرصًا جديدة لتوليد الدخل والعمل الحر.

نُفذت هاتان الدورتان التدريبيتان بالشراكة مع الجمعية الإيطالية للتضامن بين الشعوب (AISPO)، وبتمويل من الوكالة الإيطالية للتعاون الإنمائي (AICS).

أُجريت هذه الأنشطة في إطار مشروع "دعم وصول الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة إلى خدمات الصحة والتعليم، والتمكين الاقتصادي، وإدماجهم في سوق العمل في بورتسودان وكسلا" (AID 12144)، الذي يهدف إلى تعزيز الإدماج والاستقلالية والمشاركة الاقتصادية المستدامة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

حفل تخرج 46 متدرباً من ذوي الإعاقة في كسلا
AISPO :Graduation Ceremony for 46 Trainees with Disabilities in Kassala
في 16 فبراير 2026، نظمت الجمعية الإيطالية للتضامن بين الشعوب، بالتعاون مع منظمة قادرون للتنمية، حفل تخرج لـ 46 شخصًا من ذوي الإعاقة ممن أتموا بنجاح برنامجًا للتدريب المهني في ولاية كسلا.

نُفذ هذا النشاط في إطار مشروع "دعم وصول الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة إلى خدمات الصحة والتعليم، والتمكين الاقتصادي، والاندماج في سوق العمل".

هدف البرنامج إلى تعزيز المهارات المهنية للمشاركين، وتشجيع اعتمادهم على أنفسهم، وتحسين فرص حصولهم على عمل لائق. احتفى الحفل بإنجازات المتدربين، وأكد مجددًا التزام جميع الشركاء بالتنمية الشاملة وتكافؤ الفرص للجميع.
On 16 February 2026, the Italian Association for Solidarity Among Peoples, in partnership with Gaderon Organization for Development, organized a graduation ceremony for 46 persons with disabilities who successfully completed a vocational training program in Kassala State.

This activity was implemented under the project “Supporting the Access of Persons with Disabilities to Health and Education Services, Economic Empowerment, and Inclusion in the Labor Market.”

The program aimed to strengthen participants’ vocational skills, promote self-reliance, and enhance their access to decent employment opportunities. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the trainees and reaffirmed the commitment of all partners to inclusive development and equal opportunities for all.
