Dosha for Social Development Organization
Dosha organization is established in April 2010 as national NGO and it was registered under HAC Blue Nile license and focuses on Blue Nile State issues with expected expansion to the other parts of the Sudan. Dosha’s vision is social securityfor all and its mandate is to contribute to ensure social security in all times and all conditions. To do so the org
anization works through establishment of partnerships with direct beneficiaries and related international, national and local civil societies and the state government institutions. The main organization's programs are relief and recovery responses, community capacity building, livelihood improvement, civic education, awareness raising, women and child empowerment, environmental conservation, emergency, conflict mitigation and peace building. The organization implemented more than 8 projects and the biggest ones are: 1 in civic education, 1 in rehabilitation of partially homeless children in Roseires, 1 distribution of NFIs for flood affected people of BN state and 2 in peace building. The organization has three offices in Khartoum, Roseires and Damazine and implements its activities through its 50 well-trained volunteers who represent secondary school students, university students and other activities.
