OBJECTIVES
To organise, develop and maintain an effective, democratic independent Association for promoting responsible parenthood. To promote, protect, defend and safeguard the rights,interests and welfare of the members and their families. To initiate programmes for promoting and strengthening values in the family
To uphold and enhance the status and the roles of father in the family. To promo
te awareness amongst fathers and the society of the importance of responsible fatherhood. To empower the Fathers by offering educational programmes on parenting skills. To promote the values of love, respect, understanding, and faithfulness between husband and wife; emphasizing shared duties and responsibilities, obligations and decision-making. To pursue the setting up of structures or organs, at the all levels, that may assist in attaining the objects of the Association. To raise the awareness of Fathers regarding reproductive health, and empower them to take their respective responsibility in that regard. To liaise, associate and affiliate with other local, regional or international organisations having the same aims and objectives as those of the Association. To lobby for the amendment, repeal or enactment of legislation affecting the family. To raise funds for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Association. To manage and invest funds for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Association. To do such other things as may be incidental or conducive or necessary for the better attainment of the objects of the Association.
