An inspiring session for Sals Seychelles students with Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Fellow Rosabelle Mederick, founder of RM Architects.

Rosabelle shared her career journey, experiences from the Leadership in Business track at Rutgers University, and her professional development placement with Moody Nolan in Columbus, Ohio. Students eagerly engaged in discussions on leadership, overcoming challenges, and preparing for their undergraduate studies.

The session also highlighted the partnership between the Seychelles National Youth Council and Affiliate American Youth Leadership Space, creating valuable opportunities for youth leadership and development.

📌Minister Belle Congratulates Regional Creative Young Entrepreneurs Award Winner Collin Constance.

This morning, Minister for Youth and Sports, Kalsey Belle, met with Mr. Collin Constance, founder of Kokosye and laureate of the Regional Creative Young Entrepreneurs Award, during a courtesy meeting held at the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC).

The meeting provided an opportunity for Minister Belle to learn more about Mr. Constance's entrepreneurial journey, his experience throughout the regional competition, and the inspiring work being undertaken through Kokosye to promote and preserve Seychellois culture.

Also present were SNYC CEO Mr. Michel Pierre, Special Advisor for Youth Affairs Ms. Brigitta Jeannevol, and SNYC Principal Programme Officer for Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development, Ms. Josette Cadence, who also served as a member of the judging panel for the competition.

Minister Belle congratulated Mr. Constance on his remarkable achievement and reaffirmed the Ministry's and SNYC's continued commitment to supporting youth entrepreneurship and empowering young people to pursue innovative and sustainable business ventures.

📌A new chapter in youth leadership begins!

This morning, the 21st Cohort of the Seychelles National Youth Assembly (SNYA) was officially inaugurated during a ceremony held at the Savoy Resort & Spa.

The event was graced by the presence of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Kalsey Belle; the Minister for Education, David Pierre; the Chairman of the National Assembly Youth, Media and Sports Committee, Hon. Conrad Gabriel; the CEO of SNYC, Mr. Michel Pierre; Chief Policy Analyst from the Youth and Sports Department Bertrand Loze; members of SNYC management, partners, schools representatives, parents, and invited guests.

The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of the outgoing 20th Cohort, who were officially certified following their term of service and contribution to youth representation and leadership.

Congratulations to both cohorts as one chapter closes and another begins.
