Sonship Sonship in the Solomon Islands is a Not-for-Profit organisation taking medical care to isolated villages.

We provide medical care in the Western Province to villages who are otherwise unable to travel to Gizo for medical care. We have nurses and the government hospital also provides, doctors and dentists on occasions. Our 6 medical boats 'Medisonship' are equipped with supplies that have been donated. Our crew consist of; captain, engineer, deck hand, evangelist and 2 nurses on each medical tour. The tours are for 11 days leaving Sonship headquarters on the first Monday of each new month.

And just like that another crate but a much smaller one that was donated to Sonship has been packed and now is on the road on its way to go to the Solomons with lots of necessary things packed in it to help Sonship maintain its workings happening at Meresu. Thankyou to Jim for the crates (the 2nd one going in a few weeks) they have saved Sonship time and money not having to build one from scratch. Thanks to Lester for cutting it to fit as it was too long. A special surprise is in there for the staff when they unpack it.
We are thankful to the many people who help make this happen. There are many ladies at the Avondale retirement village who have made knitted teddies, baby blankets, knitted clothing for babies to keep them warm. Sadly we will miss a special lady who has been involved in the knitting and collecting of the small soft toys 🧸 🔫 the late Anne has been a prayer 🙏 warrior for Sonship ministry, knitted many things but also donated many small toys 🧸collected at the Cooranbong Community Centre that the Medisonships give away on the medical tours 👏🏼you are missed Anne but rest a while and very soon Jesus will call you to spend eternity with Him and all His children who love Him. ❤️ 🥰

Sonship, reaching the unreachable.

Crossing seas, entering remote villages, and bringing care to people who would otherwise go without.

Where help is hard to find, Sonship chooses to go.

Help us continue reaching more lives through the GoFundMe link.

In Kinamara Village, a little baby came for help, small, playful, and unaware of how quickly sickness can become dangerous without treatment.

MediSonship provided care, hydration checks, and the medicine needed to help the baby recover safely.

Because every child deserves the chance to grow healthy, no matter how remote their village may be.

Sonship continues to reach people in places where help is limited and hope can feel far away.

Through every medical mission, they bring more than medicine, they bring compassion, care, prayer, and the reminder that no one is forgotten.

One visit, one person, one life at a time, this is Sonship in action.

MediSonship goes where care is hardest to reach, crossing distance and barriers to serve those who need it most.

They don’t just treat illness; they bring relief, dignity, and hope to lives often overlooked.

On Sonship’s medical mission, it’s more than treatment, it’s meeting people in their pain.

They travel far to reach the forgotten, bringing medicine, care, and compassion to those who have nowhere else to turn.

In every patient, they don’t just see a need, they see a life worth caring for.
