Sonship Sonship in the Solomon Islands is a Not-for-Profit organisation taking medical care to isolated villages.

We provide medical care in the Western Province to villages who are otherwise unable to travel to Gizo for medical care. We have nurses and the government hospital also provides, doctors and dentists on occasions. Our 6 medical boats 'Medisonship' are equipped with supplies that have been donated. Our crew consist of; captain, engineer, deck hand, evangelist and 2 nurses on each medical tour. The tours are for 11 days leaving Sonship headquarters on the first Monday of each new month.

Medisonship 3 is on tour again for June and in just 3 days into tour the medical team have been able to help a few people that have been in a very bad way. Thankyou to God who provides funds through donations to keep Medisonships as floating active clinics arriving at villages at just the right time to help someone

An amazing ending to a hectic but rewarding couple of weeks packing, packing and more packing of bags and boxes of medical aids for the Solomons. We are very grateful to the VINE Communities for allowing Sonship to share their container to get these much needed medical supplies shipped out. But it takes a family to make it happen, Lester you are always supportive and willing to be wherever you are needed, thankyou very much πŸ™and the volunteers at the Sonship Op Shop who are always so committed to keep working although it seems at times over whelming πŸ˜‰this couldn't happen without your hard work tirelessly sorting and pricing the many donations from the community Thankyou πŸ‘πŸΌ and the lovely ladies who came to Helen's rescue and help sort the medical supplies into boxrs with the right categories, thankyou πŸ™

Below is a story we received from our Medisonship 6's Captain Soni during this last tour 😒😒it is rather sad but yet it makes us happy that the Medisonships are there to provide health and healing πŸ˜€
These boys and all those who have ringworm suffer so and we are so glad Medisonship 6 was an answer to their sad πŸ˜” 😟 situation and has brightened their lives. It cost a lot to treat these patients...
THANKYOU to each SUPPORTER OF THESE BOATS OF HEALING BOTH PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™may GOD BLESS YOU EACH ONEπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ
