Proud moment for our Under 12 girls, finishing 2nd place and receiving their medals 🥈👏🏽 A great effort and well-earned result after competing strongly throughout🎾💯

Big congratulations to Team West for taking out the trophy again this year 🏆🥳👏🏽

After the Under 12s finish their tournament, all players are taking part in a two-day training camp, focusing on safeguarding for children -making tennis a safe, supportive space where kids can enjoy the game without fear 😁🎾❤️

🎾POJC UPDATE Day 6 : Under 14s & 16s🇸🇧

Under 14s:
•Rachel Tamu won against Deja Relia (FSM) 6-2, 6-3.
•Eldwin Kukiti fought hard but lost to Mareko Webb (Cook Islands) 5-7, 2-6.

They are competing for 9th–16th positions.

Under 16s:
•Petra Tamu put in a strong fight and came out with a win against Angelise Doueperer (New Cal) 6-1, 6-0.🔥

She will be playing for 5th/6th place.👏🏽

Good effort from the team with some strong wins and close matches. We move forward to the next rounds and aim to finish the tournament well💪🏽💯🇸🇧

🎾 POJC Update – U12 Team Events

Girls Finals (vs PNG):
Porsche Petersen put up a strong fight but narrowly lost to Maclyn Meninga 1–6, 7–5, 8–10.
Jane Talisha also gave her best but went down to Alani Smith 3–6, 0–6.

Doubles:
Mary Maike & Jane Talisha lost 1–6, 2–6.

➡️ The girls finished 2nd overall 🥈 — a great team effort 👏💪❤️

Boys – 3rd/4th Playoff (vs Tonga):
Simeon Riigalo had a tough match, losing to Siona Lepa Vailea 4–6, 1–6.
Harry Clay bounced back strongly, winning against King Huni 6–2, 6–1.

Deciding Doubles:
The boys went down 4–6, 1–6, finishing 4th overall 👏❤️🇸🇧🔥

Both teams gave their all and showed great fight, resilience, and growth throughout the tournament. Proud of their efforts — plenty to build on moving forward 🙏💯🇸🇧

Big moment for our Solomon Islands U12 boys and girls teams as they break in top 4 at the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships in Fiji 🇫🇯

The U12 girls team after topping theirpool,defeated
Cook Islands U12 Girls🇨🇰 2-1 in the Semifinals to advance to the finals against PNG U12 Girls🇵🇬

Our U12 Boys team🇸🇧
finished top of their pool before
going down 2-1 to Tahiti🇵🇫in the semi finals and will battle it out for 3rd spot against a strong Tongan team🇹🇴

POJC DAY 6 UPDATE for under 12s Team Event: 🎾

Girls:
Porsche Petersen secured a strong win over Cook Islands, taking the match 6-4, 3-6, 10-5.
Jane Talise went down to her teammate Moeana Matheson 2-6, 1-6.

The girls bounced back well in doubles, winning 6-4, 7-5 to seal the tie 2-1. They now move on to the finals tomorrow against PNG👏👏🏽🇸🇧🇸🇧🔥

Boys:
Simeon Riigalo fought hard but fell to Tahiti 2-6, 7-6, 2-10 in a close match.
Harry Clay also went down 4-6, 1-6.

The boys received a walkover in doubles against Tahiti, finishing the tie 1-2. They will now play for 3rd/4th place tomorrow against Tonga 🥳👏🏽🇸🇧🎾

All the best to both teams for their matches tomorrow! 💪🎾GO SOLO GO!! 🇸🇧
