๐ค MCTโYECSI Grant Recipient Highlight:
Kaloka โ Hirojah Taurunga Association:
The MCTโYECSI Business Development Grant has supported one of YECSIโs valued members, Kaloka โ Hirojah Taurunga Association, through the provision of a vehicle to strengthen its operations and community outreach activities.
As YECSIโs only registered member from Isabel Province, Kaloka โ Hirojah Taurunga Association has consistently participated in festivals, cultural events, and community programs both in Honiara and throughout Isabel Province, proudly showcasing local talent, culture, and community spirit.
This support responds directly to the Associationโs logistical needs and will significantly improve its ability to transport members, equipment, and resources for programs, entertainment activities, cultural events, and community engagements. The vehicle will also support the implementation of future initiatives and help expand the Associationโs reach and impact across communities.
Kaloka โ Hirojah Taurunga Association continues to play an important role in promoting culture, entertainment, community participation, and youth engagement while contributing positively to the creative and tourism sectors.
The support provided under the MCTโYECSI partnership initiative between YECSI and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism reflects a shared commitment towards empowering youth entrepreneurs, supporting community-based organizations, strengthening cultural initiatives, and creating opportunities throughout the Solomon Islands.
YECSI acknowledges the continued support from MCT and congratulates Kaloka โ Hirojah Taurunga Association on this achievement. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this support will have on their programs, cultural activities, and community development efforts.
