ILukim Sustainability Solomon Islands believe in its “APRICE” approach in delivery of goods and services in the local communities of the Solomon Islands in promoting sustainability through environmental, social, cultural and economic activities. The initial A P R I C E stands for Advocacy, Partnership, Research, Interaction, Consultation and Education. Advocacy: ISSI believes in advocacy in issues pertaining to the sustainable livelihood and survival of the population in Solomon Islands, both physically and intellectually. Partnership: ISSI believes in partnership and will continue to work in partnership with communities and key stake holders for effective and efficient implementation to achieve the program and the organization ultimate goals. Research: ISSI believes in investigation, study, explore, examine, make enquiries and delve into understanding the unknown information to be made known of the useful information through researches and critical analysis of data's for sustainable Solomon Islands. Interaction: ISSI believes in the interaction OR mobilizing of potentials at different levels to have common understanding, build and strengthen relationship with individuals, focus groups and communities of Solomon Islands that it serves. Consultation: ISSI believes in sharing and learning from each other through consultation for information through networks and working together towards achieving sustainable Solomon Islands. Education: ISSI believes in education as an ongoing worthwhile process that learning about sustainability will never stop as long as it has applied to worthwhile plans and activities that support the traditional and modern survival of our local communities. Every one need to be well informed and understand the importance of sustainable development approaches.
