In the Solomon Islands, this work is about supporting communities to come together and find ways to face challenges and improve their wellbeing.

Nerish is the Project Manager for the Kลtui Programme in the Solomon Islands.

She works alongside partners such as WARA (West Are'Are Rokotanikeni Association) and SICAN ( Solomon Island Climate Action Network) to support how programmes are shaped and carried out in ways that reflect what communities are going through and what they need most.

โ€œTo me, Kotui is the ongoing work of keeping things linked. So people, knowledge and experiences become stronger or more complete when they are joined in a way that holds each part rather than erasing it.โ€ - Nerish Aunga

In the Solomon Islands, this work helps ensure that what communities know and experience is reflected in how activities are carried out.

It also creates space for women and marginalized groups to speak up and be part of the decisions that affect their lives.

This is what Kลtui looks like in the Solomon Islands.
