We are pleased to share an exciting collaboration between Superfly Limited, Greenergy Pacific, and ChildFund New Zealand as we take a major step forward in our work towards delivering sustainable water access to the 18 communities of Graciosa Bay in Temotu Province.

Through this partnership, Superfly is supporting the installation of our solar panels and systems, powering a solar water pump that will bring clean, reliable water to some of the most remote and climate vulnerable communities in the Solomon Islands. This is more than infrastructure, it is about dignity, health, and resilience for our people.

🌺✨ EMPOWERING Women & Youth in Temotu Province ✨🌺

In Temotu Province,Greenergy Pacific EMPOWERING Project, with support from New Zealand through the Small Grants Initiative under the Gov4Res programme, is helping women and youth in Lata and surrounding communities take charge of their economic future.

Through livelihood training, financial literacy, and leadership development, participants will gain the skills and confidence to grow sustainable incomes and strengthen their communities.

A key milestone of the project is the creation of a locally registered platform - Building Opportunities, Lifting Dreams (BOLD), designed to continue supporting enterprise development beyond the life of the grant.

The Temotu Women’s Council will play a central role in coordination and delivery, helping ensure strong local ownership and continuity.

This project is supported by a USD 50,000 grant from New Zealand through the Small Grants Initiative under the Gov4Res programme, delivered in partnership with UNDP and the Solomon Islands Government.

Gov4Res is funded by the Government of Australia, Government of New Zealand, KOICA, SIDA Sweden, and the Government of the United Kingdom to support locally led initiatives that strengthen climate and disaster resilience across Solomon Islands.

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to send our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, the Greenergy Pacific Board, landowners, and communities for your ongoing support.

A huge thank you to our partners, supporters and stakehodlers for your time, effort, skills, and resources:
Temotu Provincial Government, MECDM, Kastom Garden, Litehaus International, PAYA, SMEC, National Geographic Society, and our schools.

We are grateful for our partnership with ChildFund New Zealand through the CCAIR initiative, working together to strengthen community resilience and climate adaptation in Temotu Province working towards building Climate Smart Villages (CSVs).

A special thanks to our major donor, the New Zealand Government, for supporting our mission to build CSVs.

We also acknowledge the support of our MPAs and national MPs, as well as churches, chiefs, leaders, youths, and women; your dedication is invaluable.

Looking forward to 2026, we can’t wait to expand and work with more communities across Temotu Province!

A beautiful rainny day in Temotu. Greenergy Pacific Team in Partnership with ChildFund NZ ChildFund New Zealand and Superfly Limited Superfly Limited progressing its renewable energy access for rural communities and schools.

Today we are working with Napir community, installing lights for their community freezer/charging house.
