The Institute of Solomon Islands Accountants (ISIA) concludes its radio advocacy series on SIBC with a discussion on the importance of professional training and continuous professional development (CPD) in building a stronger accounting profession.

In this final segment, Mathew Gideon, Training & Development Officer, shares insights into ISIA’s training and professional development programmes, who they are designed for, and why continuous learning is essential in today’s evolving professional environment.

The discussion explores common skills gaps faced by professionals, how ISIA’s training programmes help address these challenges, and the practical benefits that individuals and organisations gain through investing in professional development. Listeners also learn how to access ISIA’s upcoming training opportunities and continue their professional learning journey.
