As we are approaching the Christmas eve countdown,
We would like to take this time to sincerely thank you all for supporting us one way or the other in 2025. We have reached the time of the year where we all will be spending special moments with families and friends far and near.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, may we all celebrate with Love, Peace, Safety and Say No to Domestic Violence.

We wish you all Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
We look forward to working closely with you all in 2026 in a combine effort to ending violence against women, girls and children in Solomon Islands.

The office will close from business as of 1pm 24th December 2025 to the 2nd January. FSC will resume normal duty on the 5th January 2026.

FSC Centre Manager (Mrs Lorio Sisiolo) was part of the Solomon Island delegates who have attended the 5th World Women Shelter Conference in Sydney together with other governement and faith base shelter organisations in Solomon Island on the 15th - 18th September 2025.
This conference has provides opportunity for the delegates to highlight pacific experiences, share regional perspectives and strengthen collaboration with global partners working to end gender-base violence.

The trip was made possible through the UN Women Pacific Partnership to End Violence Against Women and Girls Phase 2.

FSC is very delighted for the opportunity to be represented in the world conference as such. Huge thank you to UN Women for this previllage.
