🇵🇰 NOOR-E-AZAADI 2026 is here, and this one is for the families.

On Friday, 21 August, SPPC Western Region is opening the doors in Jeddah for an evening of light, freedom and togetherness. Independence Day may fall on the 14th, but the celebration belongs to all of us, and we wanted a date where everyone could actually bring their people along.

Come with your spouse. Come with your parents. Come with the kids. This is not a networking evening. It is a community evening.

A free AI camp for our children — this summer, with SPPC. 🌙

Dear SPPC family,

This summer, we're giving the children of our community something special: the Summer AI Camp 2026 — a free, live, online camp where our kids don't just use AI, they learn to build with it.

Two tracks across eight evenings:
🔹 AI Explorers — ages 9 to 12
🔹 AI Builders — ages 13 to 17

Here's what makes it different: alongside the fun of building real projects, every child learns to use AI responsibly — the ethics behind it, its limits, and why it should never replace their own thinking. We want our children to grow into confident, thoughtful people who use technology well, not people who lean on it blindly.

And because these are our children, safety comes first. Every session is live and moderated, two adults are always present, children join only through the SPPC Portal, and we follow a clear Child Safety Policy that parents can read in full.

The camp is taught by volunteer professionals from within our own community — neighbours and friends giving their time for our kids.

Sending money home is one of the most common conversations in every Pakistani WhatsApp group in Saudi Arabia. "Which app is giving the best rate today?" "Should I use my bank or the wallet?" "Are the fees worth it?"

We decided to just put all of it in one place.

SPPC's new SAR to PKR rates page compares 16 Saudi banks and wallets in a single view — today's best rate, every transfer option each provider offers (branch, digital, product variants), and the fees for each. It's updated regularly so you always have a starting reference before you transfer.

Our children are on summer break. Let us give them something worth remembering.

SPPC is launching a free Summer AI Camp for the children of our members — and we are looking for volunteer instructors from within our own community.

🎓 Two tracks running in parallel
• AI Explorers — ages 9 to 12 — no coding needed
• AI Builders — ages 13 to 17 — light Python, real projects

📅 27 July to 19 August · Mondays and Wednesdays · evenings
💻 Live online · Urdu, with English technical terms
💸 Free. SPPC does not charge its members.

What we are asking of you

Just one session. 60 to 90 minutes. On the topic closest to what you already do at work.

You will not be alone — a lead facilitator runs the room, manages the kids, and handles the tech. We help you with the slides. You just show up and teach.

🌍 You do not have to be in Saudi Arabia. Pakistani professionals anywhere in the world are welcome, as long as you can teach live during Riyadh evening hours.

After more than 35 years of treating patients, Dr. Aamir shares a practical truth: many illnesses can't be understood by looking at the disease alone. We have to understand the person.

We just launched two new directories on our website for our community.

Pakistani Restaurants Directory and Pakistani Businesses Directory are now live at spp.community.

Both are free to list, free to search, and open to Pakistani-owned establishments in all 47 Saudi cities where our 6,551 SPPC members live. Every listing is reviewed by SPPC admins before it goes public.

We launched them empty on purpose. We want our community to fill them.

If you own a Pakistani restaurant or business here in Saudi Arabia, or you know one, please list it.

Coming soon: member reviews, halal sourcing details for restaurants, and member-only offers for businesses.
