I believe in Allah

I believe in Allah Dua for 3rd Ashra of Ramadan
The last days of Ramadan are to seek Refuge in Allah from the Hellfire. Don’t like your answer? Well, there is good news. Ameen.

To be close to our Creator is a fundamental need of every human being and striving to achieve it can be the healing for our chaotic inner selves which, in turn, leads to:
Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) love
Greater productivity
Confidence
Satisfaction and joy

Therefore, it is essential to exert effort in seeking closeness to your Creator. To begin with, the prescription to getting closer t

o Allah requires a few things from you:
Strong intention to get closer to Allah (glorified and exalted be He)
Patience
Consistency
Avoid doing nothing

Let’s first consider our worth to Allah (glorified and exalted be He). If you want to know your worth to Allah (glorified and exalted be He), then see what you are doing with your life. Are you pleasing Allah (glorified and exalted be He) or disappointing Him? The fact that you are seeking closeness to Allah (glorified and exalted be He) means He wants you to remember Him. Being productive is very important as a Muslim. It is a sign of Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) mercy that you have come to seek beneficial knowledge from websites like this one. A righteous deed is like a pearl necklace – when it breaks, all the pearls follow one another quickly. Abu Huraira (RA) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said that Allah (glorified and exalted be He), the Exalted and Glorious said, “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” (Sahih Muslim). We need to struggle to achieve great things. The harder the struggle is, the better the outcome becomes. Getting close to Allah (glorified and exalted be He) takes time. We cannot expect everything to magically fall into place by doing a righteous deed. You need to depend on Allah (glorified and exalted be He) and trust that what He has planned for you is the best you can have, for this life and the hereafter. Here are some tips to achieve closeness to Allah (glorified and exalted be He) (glorified and exalted be He):

1. Dua’a (Supplication)

We forget that we need Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) help and strength to guide us. When we get too caught up with dunya (this life) we often think we can do it on our own without His help. We have to know that nothing changes without the strength and power of Allah (glorified and exalted be He). We need to ask Him for His help, even if it is to get closer to Him, or become better at worshiping Him. We need to seek refuge in Allah (glorified and exalted be He) in everything. It could be negative thoughts we have, our lack of productivity or even our lack of faith. We need to ask Allah (glorified and exalted be He) to help us and guide us to the Straight Path. Allah (glorified and exalted be He) says in the Qur’an:

”And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided”(2:186).

2. Stay Away from Poisons

You need to get any poisons out of your life. Poison has many forms. Fix your heart, by staying away from anything that Allah (glorified and exalted be He) doesn’t love. If you are around friends that make you sin and make you disappoint Allah (glorified and exalted be He), then you need to get them out of your life. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

3. Get to Know Allah [SWT] Through His 99 Beautiful Names

How can you love Allah (glorified and exalted be He) and want to get closer to Him if you don’t know Him that well? We fall in love with people as we get to know them more and realize that they have a lot of beautiful qualities and characteristics. Of course Allah (glorified and exalted be He) is above any analogy, but you need know Him more. Wanting to get closer alone won’t do you any good without falling in love with your Creator. Start with the name of Al-Wadud, the Ever-Loving. Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) love for you is unconditional. He does not need or want anything from you in return. He loves you so He keeps giving you even if you disobey Him. Ask Allah (glorified and exalted be He) with His 99 Names. He is the One who is closest to you (Qareeb). So ask Him to bring you closer to Him. Call on Him using the name Al-Wadud and ask Him to love you more and make you love Him more. It’s as simple as that. We tend to overthink stuff and forget that if we seek refuge in Allah (glorified and exalted be He), He will make everything easier on us. Abu Huraira (may Allāh be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, “If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying, ‘Allah loves so and-so; O Gabriel! Love him.’ Gabriel would love him and make an announcement amongst the inhabitants of the Heaven. ‘Allah loves so-and-so, therefore you should love him also,’ and so all the inhabitants of the Heaven would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

4. Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah (glorified and exalted be He))

Remembering Allah (glorified and exalted be He) is essential in achieving closeness to Him. You can remember him by engaging in dhikr (remembrance) and tasbeeh (praise). Say Astaghfirullah a lot to erase your sins. Say Alhamdulillah so Allah will give you more. Look outside your window and say Subhan-Allah about His beautiful creations. The most elegant form of remembering Allah (glorified and exalted be He) is by looking at His creations. When you are in between tasks like driving or walking, remember Allah (glorified and exalted be He). Listen to Islamic lectures or Islamic poetry that talk about Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) glory. Surround yourself with people who remind you of Allah (glorified and exalted be He). Attend halaqas or religious circles in masjids or you can even create your own gathering of remembrance. The more you remember Allah (glorified and exalted be He), the more He will remember you. See what happens when you are sitting in a gathering that is filled with Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) remembrance. Allah’s Messenger [SAW] said:

“Whenever some people gather in one of Allah’s houses (mosques) to recite the book of Allah and study it among themselves – then calmness (tranquility) descends upon them, the angels surround them, mercy covers them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him.” (Sahih Muslim)

5. Follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him)

By following the Sunnah of our prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) we will gain the love of Allah (glorified and exalted be He). When you gain the love of Allah(glorified and exalted be He), you will get closer to him. Following the sunnah of the Prophet makes you a better person. You will have better manners and ethics. Read more about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him); fall in love with your Messenger. After all, he was a mercy to all mankind. Allah says so in the Qu’ran:

“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (3:31)”.

6. Stay Connected to the Qur’an

Reading or memorizing the Qur’an alone is not enough. Understand it and act upon it. Try your best to act the way we were asked to in the Qur’an. Strive for the best. Reflect on its meanings; it will give you answers to your daily life’s complications. When you read the Qur’an and understand it more you will be more likely to reach the level of ihsan. You will want to do everything right. In the form of a man, Gabriel/Jibreel (peace be upon him) once entered a gathering where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was sitting. One of the questions the angel asked was to elaborate on the term “ihsan”, Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, “That you worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you don’t see Him then truly He sees you.”(Bukhari and Muslim)

Wrapping It All Up

Be productive, seek knowledge and take action. The more you love Allah (glorified and exalted be He), the more you will do to get closer to Him. The more you get closer to Him, the more He will get closer to you. The more you will want to learn about the sunnah and the Qur’an and want to get even closer to Him, the closer you will become to reaching the level of ihsan. When you reach that level you will feel Allah’s (glorified and exalted be He) love and you will be satisfied with everything He gives you. You will be productive because you won’t want to waste time without pleasing Allah (glorified and exalted be He). You will be confident in anything that you do in your life, because you will have full trust in Allah (glorified and exalted be He). May Allah (glorified and exalted be He) guide us to the path that takes us closer to Him.

🌙 A Message from the Heart — The Call of the Masjid in Las Vegas 🕋

In the heart of a city filled with lights, noise, and illusions of happiness, stands a house of peace — the Masjid. While the world outside calls you toward glamour, desires, and sins, the Masjid calls you with open arms — not to judge you, but to save you.

Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street, the flashing lights, the music, the temporary joy — they are the traps of Shaitan (Satan). He decorates the path to Hell with beauty and temptation. But behind every moment of sin is regret, emptiness, and distance from Allah.

The Masjid whispers to your heart:
“Come to me, O servant of Allah. Come before it’s too late. This world (Duniya) is your only chance. Once death comes, your chance is gone forever. Repent now while the doors of mercy are still open.”

Every step toward the Masjid is a step away from Hell.
Every tear of repentance is a step toward Jannah.
Every prayer you offer wipes away the dust of sin that covers your soul.

🌿 No matter what you’ve done, Allah’s mercy is greater. He is waiting for you.
Don’t let the glamour of Las Vegas take your heart away from the One who created it. The lights of this city will fade — but the light of Iman (faith) will shine forever.

🏴‍☠️ Turn away from Shaitan’s invitation.
🕌 Run to the Masjid.
💧 Fall into sujood (prostration) and cry to Allah.

Because in the end, there’s only one true escape from darkness — and that’s the path of Allah.

Qur’an Verses:

1. “Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.’”
— Surah Az-Zumar (39:53)

2. “And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.”
— Surah An-Nur (24:31)

3. “Indeed, the worldly life is only amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah. Then will you not reason?”
— Surah Al-An’am (6:32)

4. “And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”
— Surah Ta-Ha (20:124)

5. “And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins… and who can forgive sins except Allah?”
— Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:135)

🌙 Hadiths:

1. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.”
— Tirmidhi, 2499

2. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you who loses his camel in a desert and then finds it again.”
— Sahih Muslim, 2747

3. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When half of the night or two-thirds of it is over, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says: ‘Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may give him? Is there anyone to seek My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?’”
— Sahih Muslim, 758

4. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari, 6416

🕋 Inside the Dunya’s Hell, a Flower Blooms — Al-Noor Mosque, Las Vegas 🌙

In the middle of the world’s darkness, where sins shine brighter than stars,
a flower of light blooms — the Masjid of Allah.
While the city chases desires and illusions, this Masjid whispers softly:
“Come back to your Lord before it’s too late.”
The doors of Al-Noor Mosque are open for every lost soul —
come, repent, and find peace that no casino or glamour can ever give.
This is not just a building — it’s a light in the desert of temptation.
The way to Jannah still begins here. 🌿

04/07/2025

🕌 A Painful but Necessary Reflection for Our Ummah

> “Our (Muslims) current position is like Broken Tasbeeh.”

Truly, this is our reality today. We Muslims have become like the separated beads of a broken Tasbeeh. Each bead is precious, but without the unifying thread, they lie lost and scattered. In the same way, every Muslim soul is precious and beloved in the sight of Allah — yet today, we are divided and disconnected.

Instead of being one Ummah as Allah commanded, we have fractured into sects, labeling and blaming each other: Shia, Sunni, Wahhabi, Hanafi, Hanbali, Salafi, Sufi — fighting each other while our enemies laugh at our weakness. We have left the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who said clearly:

> “Do not differ, for indeed those before you differed and were destroyed.”
(Sahih Al-Bukhari)

We have abandoned the Qur’an and Sunnah as our primary guide, replacing it with pride, sectarian hatred, nationalism, tribalism, and innovations. Allah warns us in the Qur’an:

> “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you — when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers.”
(Surah Al Imran 3:103)

This verse was revealed to unify hearts, but today, we have torn the bonds of brotherhood apart. Our gatherings are filled with argument, our mosques divided, our communities suspicious of one another. Just like the beads of this broken Tasbeeh, we are scattered, vulnerable, and unable to perform our duty of dhikr (remembrance), service, and calling humanity to truth.

Our Prophet ﷺ gave a clear warning:

> “The believers are like a structure, each part supporting the other.”
(Sahih Al-Bukhari 481)

When the structure is broken, its strength is lost. When the Tasbeeh is broken, its beads are lost. When the Ummah is broken, its power and barakah are lost.

We must return to the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah — to learn it, live it, and love it. We must stop labeling, cursing, and fighting each other, and instead revive the brotherhood of Islam. Allah says:

> “Indeed, the believers are but brothers. So make settlement between your brothers.”
(Surah Al-Hujurat 49:10)

This image of the broken Tasbeeh is a powerful reminder that unless we repair the thread of unity, we will remain weak and scattered, our hearts broken and our mission lost.

🤲 May Allah grant us humility, sincerity, and wisdom to reunite as one Ummah, to follow the Qur’an and Sunnah correctly, and to once again stand as a beacon of truth, justice, and peace for all humanity. Ameen.

“The true message of Imam Hussain (RA) was to stand for truth, justice, and the pure teachings of Islam as brought by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He sacrificed everything to protect tawheed (the oneness of Allah) and the Sunnah, and to reject oppression, injustice, and innovations. We should honor him by following the Qur’an and Sunnah sincerely, not through rituals, processions, or practices that have no basis in Islam. May Allah guide us to uphold Imam Hussain’s true legacy: loyalty to Allah alone, courage against falsehood, and unity upon the truth.”

Fatwa on Prohibited Practices in the Name of Muharram: A Call to Tawheed and Ummah Unity

All praise is due to Allah alone, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ, his pure family, and his noble Companions.

To proceed:

In these days of Muharram, certain groups have innovated practices that have no basis in the Qur’an or the authentic Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ. They claim these actions to be a way of honoring Sayyiduna Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleased with them both), yet in reality they contradict the very message and mission for which the Ahl al-Bayt sacrificed their lives.

Among these condemned practices are:

🚫 Constructing Tajias, symbolic shrines, replicas of graves, and parading them as if seeking barakah from them
🚫 Calling upon Imam Hussain or any member of the Ahl al-Bayt instead of calling upon Allah alone
🚫 Striking oneself, beating chests, cutting the body, wailing in a manner forbidden in Islam
🚫 Gathering for lamentations and processions that imitate the practices of non-Muslims
🚫 Attributing unseen powers, knowledge of the unseen, or divine attributes to the family of the Prophet ﷺ
🚫 Organizing ceremonies of distribution, banners, or charms with the intention of seeking protection through other than Allah

All these acts are clear innovations (bid‘ah), and some reach the level of shirk and kufr if a person believes that the Ahl al-Bayt can fulfill needs besides Allah. This is in direct violation of the core message of the Qur’an:

> “You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.” (Surah Al-Fatiha 1:5)

> “Say: I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone.” (Surah Al-Jinn 72:20)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared:

> “Whoever innovates into this matter of ours what is not from it, it is rejected.” (Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)

And the Prophet ﷺ warned in clear words:

> “Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Mary. I am only a servant, so say: the servant of Allah and His Messenger.” (Bukhari 3445)

So how can it be permissible to exaggerate with the family of the Prophet ﷺ, to the point of seeking their help and intercession in a way never permitted by Islam?

Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain were lions of Tawheed, defenders of pure Islam, and enemies of shirk. They never called people to mourn with self-harm, to build replicas of graves, or to worship their memory. They called people to Allah alone, and they fought to preserve this pure Islam.

Therefore, it is strictly haram — impermissible — to engage in these Muharram practices that imitate the ways of idolaters or other religions, especially the construction of Tajias and processions that resemble pagan rituals. Any form of ritual other than the prescribed Islamic remembrance is a sin and deviation from the straight path.

All Muslims are strictly warned against:

✅ Participating in these rituals
✅ Funding or supporting these innovations
✅ Raising their children upon these false beliefs
✅ Remaining silent while knowing the truth

It is an obligation upon every Muslim to stand firmly upon the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, calling to the unity of the Ummah under La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah.

🕋 The real message of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain is to uphold Tawheed, justice, courage, and Islamic unity — not to invent rituals that divide the Ummah, waste wealth, and imitate non-Muslims.

Hence, by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ, I issue this fatwa:

> All acts of innovation (bid‘ah) committed in the name of Muharram, including Tajias, processions, chest-beating, self-mutilation, appeals to the dead, and elevating the Ahl al-Bayt beyond their rightful status, are strictly haram and must be abandoned immediately.

> Anyone who persists in these rituals after clear proof reaches them is in danger of falling into shirk or kufr, and Allah will not accept these deeds.

We remind the Ummah to unite on the Qur’an and Sunnah, follow the correct way of the Prophet ﷺ, and honor the family of the Prophet by respecting their true legacy of Islamic monotheism and noble character.

May Allah guide all Muslims to the straight path, protect us from innovations, and unite our hearts upon the truth.

و صلى الله على نبينا محمد و على آله و صحبه أجمعين
والحمد لله رب العالمين

Those who attend gatherings on August 5th in Bangladesh, I remind you once again: the innovations, Tajia processions, and harmful customs performed on this day of Muharram are destroying the unity of the Ummah and the true message of Tawheed. These practices have been borrowed from other religious cultures and have no place in Islam.

Just as you raised your voices against dictatorship on August 15th, you must also wake up against the culture of bid‘ah that has taken root in the name of Muharram. I call upon everyone to unite and spread the true teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Let us honor the Ahl al-Bayt by following their true legacy of Tawheed, justice, courage, and Islamic unity — and leave behind false customs and harmful innovations forever.

⚠️ A Serious Warning About Fitna & Division in Our Muslim Community ⚠️

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Dear brothers and sisters,

We are living in times where fitna (discord) is spreading rapidly, even within our own Muslim community. What should be a time of unity, love, and following the Sunnah has instead become a battleground of division, accusations, and confusion.

Recently, certain organizations, including MCA (Muslim Community Association) in the Bay Area, have been actively spreading confusion and division among the believers. They promote a rigid ideology that forces Muslims to follow the Saudi Arabian calendar and the English (Gregorian) calendar, disregarding the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) regarding moon sighting. This causes division and puts those who follow the correct Sunnah-based approach in danger of being labeled or sidelined.

🚨 The Danger of Fitna in Our Communities 🚨

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) warned us about the dangers of division:

"Indeed, those who divided their religion and became sects – you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything." (Surah Al-An’am 6:159)

We see fitna appearing everywhere—on social media, in masajid, and even among families. Some are being pressured to follow certain organizations blindly, even if their teachings contradict the Sunnah. Those who stand firm on the truth, who follow local moon sighting and reject innovations, are being attacked and ridiculed.

This is not just a local issue; it is happening globally. Some groups use their influence and social media reach to impose their version of Islam while ignoring authentic scholarship and historical practices.

📌 Key Issues We Must Be Aware Of:

1️⃣ Forcing the Saudi Calendar – Islam teaches us to follow local moon sighting, but some groups insist on blindly following Saudi Arabia’s announcements, which can sometimes be pre-determined rather than based on actual sightings. This is against the Sunnah.

2️⃣ English Calendar Over the Hijri Calendar – Many Muslims have become disconnected from the Islamic calendar, replacing it with the English calendar, causing a loss of Islamic identity.

3️⃣ Division Over Eid and Ramadan – Instead of celebrating Eid together, communities are split because some follow local moon sighting while others follow distant announcements. This weakens our unity.

4️⃣ The Danger of Blindly Following Organizations – Some organizations claim to represent the Muslim community but push political or external agendas. We must follow the Qur’an and Sunnah, not any group’s policies.

🔹 What Should We Do?

✅ Stay Firm on the Qur’an and Sunnah – Our guidance comes from Allah and His Messenger, not from organizations. Verify everything against authentic Islamic teachings.

✅ Follow Local Moon Sighting – This is the Sunnah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Fast when you see it (the moon) and break your fast when you see it." (Bukhari & Muslim)

✅ Reject Fitna and Division – Do not engage in arguments. Instead, educate others with wisdom and patience.

✅ Strengthen Our Muslim Identity – Use the Hijri calendar in your personal and community life. Remind your children about it so they stay connected to their Islamic heritage.

✅ Be Cautious on Social Media – Many posts and videos spread misinformation. Always check with trusted scholars before believing or sharing anything.

💡 A Final Reminder:

Allah warns us in the Qur’an:

"And do not be like those who became divided and differed after clear proofs had come to them. And for them is a great punishment." (Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:105)

Brothers and sisters, we must stand together and protect our deen from corruption and division. Do not be deceived by those who bring fitna into our communities. Stay firm, hold onto the Qur’an and Sunnah, and make du’a for Allah to protect us from these trials.

May Allah guide us all to the straight path and unite us upon the truth.

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “It will be such that many armies will be mustered. An army in Sham, an army in Iraq and an army in Yemen.” A companion asked, “If I live that long, which do you choose for me?” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “I choose Sham for you, because it is the best of places, and the land that Allah has chosen for his special bondsmen – and if you cannot go to Sham, then go to Yemen – and drink from your brooks and streams, for Allah Ta’ala has guaranteed that He will look after the land of Sham and its inhabitants.” (Abu Dawud 2475)
