Two Filipino Nurses Honored at OPPA’s 1st Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Migrante 2026

Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, October 02, 2026 - The Filipino nursing community in Saudi Arabia celebrates the remarkable recognition of Ms. Evelyn Menez, RN, and Ms. Evelyn Tolentino, RN, who were honored as awardees of the OPPA 1st Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Migrante 2026.

Their recognition highlights decades of dedicated service, commitment, and meaningful contributions as Overseas Filipino Workers in the Kingdom.

Ms. Evelyn Menez, RN, has devoted 34 years of service as an OFW. She is an active PNA-ERSA officer, currently serving as Director for Labor and Welfare, and continues to contribute to the organization and the Filipino nursing community. In August 2026, she was also recognized as a Silver Awardee of the PNA-ERSA Long Service Awards.

Ms. Evelyn Tolentino, RN, meanwhile, proudly marks an impressive 44 years of service as an OFW. She remains an active PNA-ERSA member and was recognized as a Gold Awardee during the PNA-ERSA Long Service Awards Night in August 2026.

Their OPPA recognition is a testament to their years of perseverance, professional dedication, and service to fellow Filipinos.

Congratulations, Ms. Menez and Ms. Tolentino! Your achievements inspire the Filipino nursing community and demonstrate the lasting impact of dedicated service abroad.
