The Flight of a True Eagle: Honoring Kuya Arman
There are members who join a club, and then there are those who become its very heartbeat. Kuya Arman was the heartbeat. Today, our skies feel heavier, and our hearts are broken, as we mourn the passing of a man who truly defined what it means to be an Eagle.
To wear the emblem of an Eagle is to vow to fly higher, to protect the vulnerable, and to serve without expecting anything in return. Kuya Arman did not just wear that vow; he lived it every single second. He possessed a rare, fiercely altruistic heart. While others stepped back, Kuya Arman always stepped forward. His hands were always open, his time always given, and his love for this fraternity completely unconditional. He was the pillar we all leaned on, the quiet strength in the room, and the guiding light when paths were dark.
It is agonizing to realize we will no longer hear his laughter at our gatherings, nor see his familiar face leading our projects with that signature, selfless smile. The void he leaves behind is not just empty space—it is a heavy, aching grief shared by every single member who was blessed to know him. We did not just lose a member; we lost a brother, a mentor, and the very best version of ourselves.
Kuya Arman, your final flight has taken you beyond the horizon, but your wings have left a permanent shadow of grace over this club. You showed us how to live with purpose. You showed us how to love with an altruistic heart. We will weep for you, we will miss you terribly, but we promise to carry your fire forward. You will never be forgotten.
Fly high, Kuya Arman.
Rest in power, our noble Eagle
