Part III brought powerful insights and prestigious recognitions to our officers and members during our Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony. The program segment featured an introduction to our keynote speaker by PP Dir. Lion Sanny Ingco, PMJF, followed by an inspiring keynote speech delivered by District Governor Lion Imelda “Mhel” Pechera, 80PMJF.

We were then honored with an introduction to our Guest of Honor by Dir. Lion Benjie De Torres, leading into a powerful address by Honorable Solaiman C. Mutia – Labor Attaché II (MWO Eastern Region), highlighting the strength of community collaboration and migrant worker support. Tokens of appreciation were proudly presented to our guest speakers for their invaluable time and wisdom.

The evening also shone a spotlight on excellence through official LCI and LCIF Awards, honoring the dedication of Lions who go above and beyond to change lives:

Reflecting on the successful Disaster Relief Assistance Program held on August 29, 2026 in Purok 6, Mandasig, Candaba, Pampanga led by Chairperson for Disaster Relief Lion Hajji Dimasangal. Thanks to our local coordinators the Dimasangal Family and everyone who contributed, we successfully brought immediate humanitarian support and essential provisions to 50 families affected by flooding.

True to our theme, "Serving as One with a Grateful Heart," this outreach proved that when we unite for a common cause, our impact knows no bounds. Let's keep serving! 💚💛

Growing our family and passing the torch of leadership. 🤝🦁

Part II marked the heart of our organizational growth and leadership transition during our Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony. We officially welcomed our new members through a meaningful ceremony guided by our Induction of New Member Facilitator, SVP/Membership Chairperson Lion John Albert Begonia, alongside the inspiring charging and lighting of new members led by PDG Ma. Jesus “Thoby” W. Antiporda, 6PMJF and SVDG Lion Cecille Baron-Asprec.

Transitioning into our new set of officers, the oath-taking for our Board of Directors, Executive Officers and Committee Chairpersons was facilitated by FVP Lion Ronilo Gacura, administered by FVDG Lion Juliet Nacida and assisted by FVP Lion Ronilo Gacura and Club Admin/IPP Leo-Lion Khristian Gerella, MJF. The historic Oath of Office for the Office of the Club President was then solemnly administered by District Governor Lion Imelda “Mhel” Pechera, 80PMJF and witnessed by Club Admin/IPP Leo-Lion Khristian Gerella, MJF, PP Lion Sanny Ingco and PP Lion Paul Madriaga.

Following a reflective valedictory address and a review of our accomplishments by Club Admin/IPP Leo-Lion Khristian Gerella, MJF, the historic moment arrived with the symbolic turnover of the gong and gavel to incoming Club President Lion Melvin Landicho, MJF (LY 2026-2027). President Melvin then delivered a powerful inaugural address and acceptance speech, setting an inspiring vision for an even greater impact ahead!

Uniting in tradition, faith and purpose. 🌿

Part I of our Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony set a solemn and inspiring tone for the evening. Beginning with registration, the Grand Processional by our guests, Lion members, community leaders and partners and the magnificent Entry of Colors by the IPSA Cadets, the program officially commenced with the Call to Order led by IPP Leo-Lion Khristian Gerella, MJF.

The evening opened with a safety moment, followed by Christian and Muslim prayers, the Lions Prayer and the resounding chords of the Philippine National Anthem, Saudi National Anthem and the MD301 Lions Hymn.

With a strong foundation built on our core values, we grounded ourselves through the reading of the Lions Mission & Vision and the Lions Code of Ethics. This was followed by warm Welcome Remarks delivered by FVP Lion Ronilo Gacura, an inspiring look into Lions Clubs International History and our club's background shared by PP Lion Paul Madriaga and the official acknowledgment of our esteemed physical and Zoom dignitaries.

Reflecting on a truly milestone celebration as the Batangas Saudi 101 Lions Club successfully held its Oath Taking Ceremony & Induction of New Members for Lion Year 2026-2027 on August 28, 2026, at the Somuo Hotel, Al Khobar, KSA.

We were deeply honored to welcome our esteemed district leaders joining via Zoom from the Philippines including District Governor Lion Imelda “Mhel” Pechera, 80PMJF, FVDG Lion Juliet Nacida, Second Vice District Governor Cecille Baron-Asprec, 53PMJF, GMT Ma. Jesusa “Thoby” W. Antiporda, 7PMJF, IPDG Apolinar Cortez, 6PMJF, Cabinet Secretary Areem Alvaran, MJF, Cabinet Administrator Susan Tan, 5PMJF, Deputy Cabinet PRO Leonardo Visperas, MJF, District Secretary Zenaida Ruiz, and DICC Malou Quilala Gomez.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our physical Guest of Honor, Honorable Solaiman C. Mutia – Labor Attaché II (Migrant Worker Office of Eastern Region Operation), alongside all our non-Lion humanitarian partners, community members, friends and families.

A massive salute to outgoing President Leo-Lion Khristian Gerella, MJF for his remarkable leadership through LY 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 and a warm welcome to our incoming Club President, Lion Melvin Landicho, MJF for LY 2026-2027!
