পৃথিবীতে এঁদের চাহিদা তো সামান্য খাবারই। সৃষ্টিকর্তাই তো উনাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন, উনিই ঠিক করে দিয়েছেন..

ভবিষ্যৎ দীপ্ত নয় বলে এই মানুষের জন্য অনুদান আসে না। আপনি কি পারবেন তাঁদের পাশে দাঁড়াতে?

সময় রাত এগারোটা। কয়েকজন তরুণ রান্না ঘর খুলে বসেছে পাশের ফুটপাতে। বারবিকিউ করছে তাঁরা। তবে নিজেদের জন্য নয়, রাস্তায় ঘুরে বেড়ানো পথশিশুদের জন্য। পাগল নাকি তাঁরা?

শিশুরাও প্রথমে বিশ্বাস করতে চায়নি। কিন্তু ঠিকই কেউ কেউ সরল বিশ্বাসে ভিড় করে। আর নিজেরা অংশ নেয় রান্নার এই আয়োজনে।

শিশুদের মুখ মাদক নয়, খাবারই মানায়। বিদ্যানন্দ সে কাজটিই করে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। পেটের ক্ষুধার পাশাপাশি মনে ক্ষুধাও পূরণ হয় পছন্দের মেন্যুতে আহার করতে পেরে।

সুপার মার্কেটের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে ভিক্ষা করছিলেন শেষ বয়সের নানা।

কত মানুষ বিশাল ব্যাগে বাজার করে চলে যান, ফিরেও তাকান না।

অসুস্থ স্ত্রীর জন্য সামান্য আহার দরকার তাঁর, ভিক্ষা ছাড়া কি উপায় রয়েছে এই বয়সে।

"চলেন ভিতরে" বলে এক তরুণ মায়া ভরা কন্ঠে টেনে নিলেন।

"যা ইচ্ছা কিনেন, টাকার কথা চিন্তা করবেন না"

এ কি স্বপ্ন ! ঘুম ভাঙ্গার সাথে সাথে কি বাজারের ব্যাগ বিলিন হয়ে যাবে কি?

Many children of this school cannot even eat with their own hands. So their parents rushed to feed their beloved children at noon.

Where the society has pushed these children away due to their disability, how can they hide them from their eyes, dear parents?

In this school we bring food routinely. Sometimes fish-rice and sometimes egg-rice; Whatever the menu is, these children eat it with gusto. The image of their food is a great achievement for the volunteers.

Hats off to those hardworking souls who spend their days and nights keeping our cities clean. 💖
