According to UNFPA, around women & girls menstruate everyday. Dorcas Consolation Family - DCF through its project with Days for Girls Rwamagana is determined to fight by providing sustainable reusable pads to girls who would miss school due to lack of menstrual supplies.
As we celebrate , we gathered students at and parents where we distributed more than 200 pads to girls. Days for Girls International Days for Girls International

Happy International Women’s Day!

The UN theme this year is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” At Days for Girls (DfG), one of the ways we invest in women is by promoting experiences for them to engage in holistic menstrual health (MH) education. We know that when women have access to accurate MH education, they are empowered to break menstrual stigma and taboos and pursue their goals.

These past two days, we conducted an impactful &Rights Sessions in & in Akarere ka Rwamagana where we distributed 450 , breaking barriers for adolescent girls' education. Promoted among boys through Men Who Know sessions.
