A fresh new look for the playground in Nyamagana Village! 🎨

Over the past few weeks, our German volunteers hosted a holiday program in Nyamagana Village. As part of it, they worked together with some children to repaint and renovate the village playground.

🌾 Happy Umuganura! | Celebrating the Harvest

On 7 August 2026, communities in Mubuga Cell, Rwabicuma Sector, Nyanza District came together to celebrate Umuganura—a time of gratitude, sharing, reflection, and hope.

The celebration brought together residents from all four villages, showcasing their agricultural achievements through an exhibition, traditional dances, poetry, and community messages.

At Dufatanye Organization, we believe that every harvest begins with faithful planting. We are grateful to our communities, staff, partners, donors, volunteers, and supporters for planting seeds of hope and transformation with us.

A small investment. Big ambitions.

Through the SOYEE Project (Skills and Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship), implemented by Dufatanye with support from Plan International, Adeline received entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and the opportunity to start her own business.

Today, she is financially independent, runs a growing shop, and dreams of opening her own wholesale depot within the next two years.

When young people have access to knowledge, financial skills, and the right opportunities, they create lasting change—for themselves and their communities.
