On 09/03/2026, in Ruhango, Tuzamurane Farming group that works with MJCI-Shalom harvested corns on an area of 10 ares. The comparative study between Conservation Agriculture and conventional agriculture/non CA took place. For those planted using Conservation Agriculture, the yield was 741 kg, while for those planted using the traditional method, the yield was 313 kg. The total harvest amounted to 1,054 kg.

Meet Dathive Karita, a proud participant of MJCI-Shalom projects in Ruhango!

Through our Savings for Life and Smart Agriculture projects, she recently received a goat to boost her family’s income and provide organic manure for her plots. After benefiting, she practiced the pass on spirit, sharing the blessing; while keeping two goats to continue growing her livelihood.

Through MJCI-Shalom, Dathive has connected with others in her community and found a supportive network she is proud to be part of. This support strengthens her savings, improves nutrition, and builds resilience for her family.

Together, we are empowering women and transforming communities, one step at a time. MJCI-Shalom remains committed to contributing to community wellbeing and transformation.

You are welcome to join Mission des Jeunes pour Christ Internationale "MJCI-Shalom" and serve the community together!
