Celebrating Leadership, Service & Legacy.

This week, the Liberian Community in Rwanda (LIBCOR) proudly shines the spotlight on two distinguished leaders whose dedicated service has contributed to the growth, unity, and development of our community.

1. Mr. Emmanuel Patrick - Chairman Emeritus, LIBCOR

A respected former Chairman and dedicated community leader, Mr. Emmanuel Patrick is recognized for his commitment to service, leadership, and the advancement of the Liberian community in Rwanda. His contributions and leadership continue to serve as an important part of LIBCOR’s institutional legacy.

2. Mr. Jura Gonyasuo Mangou - Secretary-General Emeritus, LIBCOR

This week, the Liberian Community in Rwanda (LIBCOR) proudly shines the spotlight on two distinguished leaders whose service has contributed to the growth, unity, and development of the Liberian community in Rwanda.

1. Mr. MacMillan Vaye — Chairman Emeritus, LIBCOR

Mr. MacMillan Vaye is recognized for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Liberian community. During his tenure as Chairman, he served with a strong sense of responsibility and worked toward strengthening the community while promoting unity, cooperation, and collective progress.

2. Mr. Lee Domah — Secretary-General Emeritus, LIBCOR

Mr. Lee Domah is equally recognized for his valuable contribution as Secretary-General. Through his service, administrative commitment, and dedication to community affairs, he played an important role in supporting the effective functioning and development of LIBCOR.

The Liberian Community in Rwanda (LIBCOR) is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with Easy Continental Travel Agency (ECTA), a strategic partner of RwandAir, in support of efforts to facilitate direct flights between Rwanda and Liberia.

This initiative seeks to reduce travel time and costs while creating greater convenience and opportunities for Liberians and other travelers between the two countries.

As part of this partnership, LIBCOR will promote ECTA/RwandAir’s services and organize chapter tours to encourage greater use of these services.

ECTA/RwandAir will serve as sponsors to LIBCOR’s initiatives.

LIBCOR has received support towards the upcoming All Liberian Festival, including a contribution of USD 200 toward the festival’s budget.

Together, we are building stronger connections between Liberia and Rwanda.

Yesterday, August 3, 2026, the Leadership of the Liberian Community in Rwanda met with the Program and Planning Committee to finalize preparations for the upcoming Liberian Festival 2026. The meeting was both productive and inspiring, reflecting our shared commitment to organizing a memorable celebration of Liberia’s rich culture, heritage, and unity.

We warmly invite all Liberians residing in Rwanda, members of the Liberian diaspora, and friends of Liberia to join us on Sunday, August 23, 2026, as we come together to celebrate our identity, strengthen our bonds, and proudly showcase the beauty and diversity of our culture.

On this historic occasion, the Liberian Community in Rwanda (LIBCOR) extends warmest Independence Day greetings to all Liberians in Rwanda and around the world.

As we celebrate 179 years of Liberian independence, let us honor the faith, courage, sacrifices, and resilience of those who paved the way for our freedom. May this celebration remind us of our shared heritage and inspire us to continue building a stronger, more united, and progressive Liberian community.

We are honored to officially welcome our Guest of Honor, Senator Crayton O. Duncan, to Kigali, Rwanda ahead of LIBCOR’s first fundraising program under the leadership of Chairman James Edgar Denia.

Today, members of the National Administrative Council (NAC) and National Executive Committee (NEC), led by Vice Chairman Seleke Kromah alongside the Chairperson of the Program & Planning Committee, Marjuin D. Eddie and fellow Liberians, received Senator Duncan at Kigali International Airport in preparation for tomorrow’s event.

We sincerely thank Senator Duncan for honoring our invitation and taking the time to join us for this important occasion.

We also extend our appreciation to the Program & Planning Committee for the tremendous work done behind the scenes, and to the general Liberian community for your continued trust, support, and cooperation throughout this journey.
