After building a successful middle-class primary school on its grounds in 2006, CLA joined with Cedar Grove Baptist Church to construct a health clinic for the people in Kigali. CLA envisioned a center that would serve as both as a teaching facility for Rwandan Midwifery and as a fully-equipp

ed health and birthing center. Iranzi Clinic provides a level of compassionate care, according to the International MotherBaby Childbirth Initiative, that many of our mothers need. Through faith-based support and evidence-based healthcare, Iranzi Clinic helps expectant mothers through their pregnancies and beyond.

CHRISTIAN LIFE ASSEMBLY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CEDAR GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH, FOUNDED IRANZI CLINIC IN 2009. ​ Iranzi Clinic is a maternal and child health focused health facility that currently offers quality and equitable, midwifery-led, Low risk maternity services including birthing options and auxiliary services.

Through faith-based support and evidence-based healthcare, Iranzi Clinic helps expectant mothers through their pregnancies and beyond.

We offer continuity of care where your primary health care provider is the same throughout pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care.

This approach has fostered and encouraged continuity of care for the moms and also a positive health care provider-client relationship. The result has been high adherence to Rwanda’s National ‘prenatal and postpartum visits’ goal; with an average of 6 visits prenatally and 4 visits postnatally.
