Meet Rachel💗

At 18 years old, Rachel is entering her final year at Hope Haven Christian School. She has a passion for physics, a love for swimming, and a dream of becoming a doctor.

Growing up in Kayonza District, Rachel comes from a family of hardworking farmers who have faced significant financial challenges. Her older siblings were unable to pursue higher education, but Rachel is determined to write a different story.

When she joined Hope Haven’s program in 2022, everything began to change. With access to a quality education and the support to dream beyond her circumstances, Rachel found new possibilities for her future.

Today, she is working toward her dream with determination and gratitude. Her story is a reminder of what can happen when a bright young person is given the opportunity to believe in what’s possible.

There is something powerful about watching a leader invest in the generation coming behind them.

This August, Hope Haven Christian School is bringing recent graduates together for a Post-Secondary Mentorship Training Program designed to equip them with practical knowledge, confidence, and vision for the journey ahead.

Yesterday, our students had the opportunity to learn from Sam Donnelly and David Sagraves of MSP Growth OS during an engaging session on Business & Entrepreneurship.

They talked about more than starting a business. They explored what it means to recognize opportunities, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and use the gifts God has given each of us with faith, purpose, and integrity.

These are the moments that can shape a young person's future. When experienced leaders choose to share their knowledge, open doors, and pour into the next generation, their impact reaches far beyond one classroom.

Because sometimes the greatest legacy a leader can leave is a generation that is better prepared to lead.

Meet Nelson

Nelson is 6 years old and loves math, drawing, and playing football. He dreams of becoming a soldier one day.

After recently losing his father, Nelson lives with his mother, a preschool teacher at Hope Haven, who is faithfully caring for him.

Today, Nelson is looking for a Hope Angel to walk alongside him through sponsorship. Your support provides Christ-centered education, meals, healthcare, and hope for his future.

Full hearts, full bags 🧡

This past Friday, our Family Department at Hope Haven School organized a food distribution for vulnerable and deserving families in our community. 68 parents went home with fresh food to support their households, including eggplants, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, and more.

We didn't stop there. The same day, we distributed clothing and household essentials, including children's clothes, women's dresses, shoes, and suitcases, to 150 families.

Thank you to everyone who makes days like this possible. This is what love in action looks like, and we believe it's God's provision moving through generous hands. 🙏

Every meal tells a story of God's grace 💚

Hope Haven School serves more than 1 million meals each year to students, staff, and families. Even more incredible, 90% of the food we serve is grown right here, providing fresh, nourishing meals for our community.

We give all glory to God for His abundant provision and for the hands and hearts that make this possible. Thank You, Lord, for blessing this work and allowing us to care for so many through the simple gift of a meal.

There is something truly special happening in the beautiful country of Rwanda.

You can see God's faithfulness in the joyful smiles of its people, the hope in the hearts of its children, and the incredible transformation taking place in communities every day. Thank you Jesus!

Four incredible children are still waiting for someone to say, "I'm with you." ❤️

Right now, 4 Kugaba student profiles are featured at the link in our bio, and every one of these precious children is still searching for their Hope Angel, a compassionate sponsor who will walk alongside them through the gift of education, encouragement, and opportunity.

Will you take a moment to meet them? Pray about whether God might be calling you to sponsor one child and become part of their story.

Even if sponsorship isn't possible right now, you can still make a powerful difference through prayer.

🙏 Please pray:
• For each child, that they would know they are deeply loved, valued, and filled with hope for their future.
• For the Hope Angel families God is preparing, that He would stir their hearts and lead them to the child He has already placed on their hearts.
• That every child would be matched with a faithful sponsor and continue to grow in Christ, in confidence, and in the opportunities God has planned for them.
