Last week, our GESI Champions took their learning closer to the community through an onsite visit to the demo plots in Rutsiro.

The visit included a recap of the GESI modules, and was an opportunity to reflect on how SGBV prevention and response knowledge can be applied to address real challenges within their communities.

Together with consortium partners under YEA-R project, we concluded 3 days training on the Community Score Card (CSC) methodology. The training equipped project staff with practical tools to strengthen accountability, promote meaningful participation, and ensure community feedback informs better programme implementation.

During our Community Dialogue, different stakeholders in Musheri and Rwimiyaga Sectors, Nyagatare District, community leaders, emphasized the need to strengthen GBV response mechanisms, improve access to quality SRHR information and services, and foster coordinated action to protect the rights and well being of women and girls.
