Today, the ED of YouthConnekt Africa, Mr. , joined policymakers and development partners at the High level Policy Dialogue; As YouthConnekt Rwanda scales its interventions with a focus on expanding tailored access to finance for youth-led businesses, it aims to drive more accelerated growth.

The YouthConnekt Africa team met with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment Gambia, to exchange on possible solutions to unlock the full potential of cross-border trade for young entrepreneurs.

YouthConnekt Gambia is unique and building a youth empowerment ecosystem, leveraging various actors, among them, the YCA team paid a visit to the General Manager of NEDI and her team to discuss financial models for youth economic development at scale.

The first day of mission to the Gambia, the YouthConnekt Africa delegation paid a visit to the National Youth Council Executive Director, toured the YouthConnekt Gambia Lab and engaged with young leaders, entrepreneurs and Youth Council Committee for extensive discussions on youth-focused policies and coordination mechanisms for more impact.

The YouthConnekt Africa mission to Senegal concluded with the YouthConnekt Senegal Technical Meeting, which brought together key stakeholders to reflect on ongoing initiatives and explore ways for continued collabiration in benefit for young people.

The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to ensuring that young people remain at the center of national and continental development efforts.
