We watched our beautiful, precious children at SEKA Ministries sit together, holding their cups of warm porridge — simple, humble, yet filled with so much meaning. In that moment, it wasn’t just a meal. It was hope. It was care. It was love in action.

We thank God deeply for every small blessing that makes these moments possible. For every hand that gives, every prayer lifted, every heart that remembers these children — you are part of something truly sacred.

Today was one of those beautiful days that fills our hearts with deep joy and gratitude. ❤️

We had the privilege of teaching our wonderful children American football, and their excitement was simply priceless. Watching them run, pass the ball, laugh, and even challenge themselves to jump higher reminded us of the pure joy that lives within them.

Moments like these are more than just play—they are a reminder of why God brought us to this community. Every smile, every cheer, every spark of confidence tells a story of hope and purpose.

At SEKA, our dream is simple but powerful: to see these children smile every day, to hear them praise God with joyful hearts, and to remind them that they truly matter. This is a community that was once forgotten, but today it is rising—stronger, brighter, and full of love.

Now, they have a place they can proudly call home. 🏡

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do ❤️

SEKA , we spent the day laughing, playing, and sharing unforgettable moments with our incredible children. From joyful games to bright smiles, every second was filled with pure happiness. There is something truly special about the energy, love, and innocence they bring—it’s simply unmatched.

Nothing brings greater joy than being surrounded by these beautiful, wonderful children. They remind us to appreciate the little things, to laugh freely, and to love deeply.

Our hearts are full today Thank you to everyone who continues to support and believe in these amazing young souls. The future is bright because of them.

We have been deeply inspired by the message of War Room Ministries that prayer has the power to heal, restore, and transform families. And here in Kigali, Rwanda, we have held onto that truth, praying earnestly for families in our community, especially those around SEKA Ministries who are constantly facing conflict and hardship.

God has been so faithful. He answered our prayers by bringing a pastor to join our wonderful stuff pastor Simonia and pastor Kabarisa, and together they began a journey of training 10 families—20 people in total. These are real families, carrying real struggles, choosing to fight for their relationships.

This training will run for 6 months, meeting once each month. But what breaks our heart is this… many of these families are very poor. Even coming to the training is a sacrifice. And often, they leave without even sharing a simple meal or receiving something small to take home—something to remind them they are not alone in this journey.

We continue to pray… that God will open a door. That somehow, each month, when they come, they can sit together, share a meal, laugh, connect—and go home with a small gift that strengthens their love and hope.

We are believing for someone to stand with these families. With $2,500 USD for the entire 6 months, it would be possible to provide meals for all 20 participants, small take-home gifts, and support for the trainers who are pouring into them.

If you feel it in your heart, please pray with us. Pray for provision. Pray for these families. Pray that love will win in their homes.

Because when families are healed, communities are transformed. And this is only the beginning.

In the laughter of our children, in their songs that never fade, and in the joy they carry so freely, we see the true meaning of happiness. Their voices echo “SEKA, SEKA,” and their smiles light up even the darkest days. It’s a blessing we never take for granted.

As we prepare to welcome them back from school break, we humbly ask you to keep us in your prayers. Your prayers are not just words — they are hope, strength, and provision. Through them, we believe in God’s grace for:

Education has no limits. No age. No boundaries. No expiration date. ❤️

When we first arrived in this community, something deeply touched our hearts. Many of the parents of our children had never learned how to read or write. Some couldn’t even write their own names. It was painful to witness—but it also lit a fire in us to do something.

So we started Adult Education classes.

Every Thursday, these incredible men and women show up. With courage. With determination. With hope. And today, we celebrate a miracle in progress…

They are learning.
They are growing.
They are now beginning to read and write their own names.

What once seemed impossible is now becoming reality.

We are so proud of every single one of our adult students. Their strength inspires us. Their commitment humbles us. Their progress reminds us that it is never too late to learn.

We kindly ask you to keep us in your prayers 🙏
There are many more adults who are eager to learn, but we are facing challenges. We don’t have enough teachers, and we lack the resources needed to support and sustain them.

What a beautiful and best moment as we close our second term at SEKA Nursery School.

We shared a wonderful time together, enjoying a lovely meal and celebrating the children as they received their end-of-term report cards. We are incredibly proud of all our little stars—especially those who performed exceptionally well. Your hard work, growth, and joy make everything worthwhile!

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way—through prayers, financial support, advice, and visits. Your kindness and encouragement mean so much to us, and we truly couldn’t do this without you.

Nothing brings us greater joy than witnessing families reunite, restore love, and recommit to their marriage vows. Seeing couples choose to invest in their marriage again reminds us that healing is always possible. A healthy family is a Christ-centered family ❤️

At Seka Ministries, we were led by God to take a stand for families living in conflict. What we witnessed broke our hearts—children struggling in school, their performance dropping, carrying burdens no child should bear. Some would come to us exhausted, spending the whole day asleep. When gently asked why, they would respond through tears:

"Our parents fought last night… we didn’t eat. Dad was drunk and poured away our food." 🥹

These moments changed us forever.

We knew something had to shift. So we prayed—for guidance, for strength, and for someone to help us bring healing through family counseling. And God answered.

Today, we are seeing transformation. Families are choosing peace. Love is being restored. Homes are becoming safe again.

But there is still so much more to be done.

We are calling on you—yes, YOU—to stand with us. If you have skills in family counseling, a heart for prayer, or the ability to support in any way, we need you. Together, we can keep families united and restore hope where it has been lost.

Let us keep the candle of peace burning. 🕯️
Let us build Christ-centered families.
Let us protect the hearts of our children.

Today our hearts are full of gratitude. ❤️

Watching the SEKA children receive porridge every day from Monday to Friday is nothing short of a miracle. Many of these precious children come from very needy families, and sometimes they go without a proper meal. But God… God has been so faithful.

Through His grace, doors are opening. What once seemed impossible is now happening right before our eyes. These children are now able to have something warm in their stomachs, something to give them strength, hope, and a reason to smile.

We give all the glory to God for what He has done and what He continues to do. 🙏

Let us continue to stand together in prayer. Let us keep being a light in their lives, showing love, kindness, and compassion in every way we can. Because even the smallest act of love can change a life.

Thank you, Lord, for your provision. And thank you to everyone who continues to support, pray, and believe with us. 💛

Today our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and joy! We lift up sincere and heartfelt praises to God for His endless love and provision. We are also deeply thankful to Christian Life Center – London, UK for their incredible partnership with SEKA Ministries.

Through this beautiful act of generosity, four pigs have been given to some of the most vulnerable families under the care of SEKA Ministries. What may seem small to some is truly life-changing to these families. These pigs represent hope, sustainability, and a brighter future.

They will provide opportunities for breeding, income generation, and improved nutrition. Over time, this blessing will multiply—not only benefiting the individual families but also strengthening the entire community. It is a seed of transformation, restoring dignity and empowering families to stand on their own.

This is what love in action looks like. This is what partnership in God’s work can achieve.

May God richly bless Christian Life Center for their kindness and compassion. And may these families continue to thrive as a testimony of His faithfulness.

Subject: Request for Educational Support

Dear Joshua, at SEKA

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Ishoborabyose Elia, and I am writing to respectfully request your support.

I am currently a sixth-grade student in primary school, preparing to take my national examination next year in seventh grade. Education is very important to me, and I am committed to continuing my studies and working hard to achieve my dreams. However, my family is facing serious financial difficulties.

At the moment, I do not have the necessary school supplies or proper clothing. The clothes I own are the same ones I wear to school every day, and I do not have other clothes for home or other activities. My family is doing their best, but unfortunately they do not have the financial ability to provide the materials and clothing I need for school.

Despite these challenges, I continue to work hard in my studies. According to my recent report card, I ranked 9th out of 32 students with an average score of 62.4. I am determined to improve and succeed if I receive the support I need.

Therefore, I humbly ask for your assistance with school supplies and clothing, so that I can continue my education without interruption. Your support would make a meaningful difference in my life and help me pursue my education with dignity and hope.
