Key Highlights.

-Altitude: 1582 - 1882m Absl

-Processing: Fully Washed, honey, natural, other different annaerobics.

-Exceptional Quality Control: Handpicked, Carefully Sorted, Floating.

Farmers supported: 1,450 received seedlings, 1,568 accessed a ready market, 260 got jobs at the station, and 1,000+ involved in harvest related activities and all those people are impacted positively.

Capacity: Up to 2,500 tons per season

Community Impact: Provide training, buying farmers harvest, quality seedlings, and encouraged farmer groups, boosting production and overall community development.

Baho Coffee company ltd operates several washing stations across Rwanda, each located in districts and provinces that contribute unique terroirs to their specialty coffees. These are the washing stations we had the privilege to explore with Low Key Coffee, Sundog Trading, Magi Coffee, and Comansa. Fugi is in Nyaruguru District, Southern Province, near the Burundi border, producing washed, honey, and natural coffees and some experimental coffee with distinctive profiles. Ngoma is situated in Nyamasheke District, Western Province, on the shores of Lake Kivu, offering jammier, heavier coffees to volcanic soils and a unique microclimate. Akagela located near Lake Kivu and Nyungwe Forest in Western Province, focusing on quality and sustainability at high altitudes.

These are the washing stations we had the privilege to explore with Low Key Coffee, Sundog Trading, Magi Coffee, and Comansa, strengthening our shared commitment to quality, community, and sustainable coffee production.
