Rwanda did not disappoint what unfolded in Nyamata, Bugesera was nothing short of powerful.

From 23rd–28th March 2026, the EAC Youth & Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp brought together some of the brightest minds across East Africa and now that it’s wrapped, one thing is clear: the future is already in motion.

I’m deeply proud to have been part of the Programme in partnership with EASTECO, East African Women in Business, and AUDA-NEPAD.

1. We connected innovators from all 8 EAC Partner States
2. Strengthened skills in business, finance & investment readiness
3. Opened real pathways to mentorship, incubation, and capital

But beyond the sessions and strategies this was about mindset, collaboration, and bold vision.

At V4Y and EAYN, we don’t just talk about change — we build it, we live it, and we scale it.

This wasn’t the end of a bootcamp.
It was the ignition of a movement.

Let me tell you something… building a business isn’t the hardest part. Becoming the person who can build it — that’s where the real work is.

You’ll need new habits, stronger character, sharper skills, and a whole new mindset. That version of you isn’t found, it’s built — daily, intentionally.

So if you want to win in business, start with yourself. Grow your identity, and the business will follow.

And trust me… I’d choose this becoming process again and again.

Rwanda is the place to be right now 🇷🇼🔥 something powerful is unfolding.

As a Social Entrepreneur, Consultant, the Director of Vision for Youth (V4Y) and President of the East African Youth Network (EAYN), I’m proud to be part of the EAC Youth and Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Challenge under the Programme, in partnership with EASTECO, East African Women in Business supported by AUDA-NEPAD.

This week from 23rd to 28th March 2026 in Nyamata, Bugesera District, we are not just hosting a bootcamp — we are shaping the future of East Africa.

✨ Bringing together innovators from all 8 EAC Partner States
✨ Equipping youth and women with skills in business, finance & investment readiness
✨ Unlocking pathways for mentorship, incubation, and access to capital

At V4Y and EAYN, this is what we stand for — empowering young people and women to lead, build, and thrive.

This is more than a programme. This is a movement.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the women out there doing 10 jobs at once and still being asked what exactly they do. 😅 😂

As a woman, I have learned that leadership is not about having everything figured out — it’s about showing up anyway.

From leading youth & women initiatives, building businesses, advocating for communities, and chasing big dreams… I wear many hats. And I wear them proudly.

Some days I’m powerful. Some days I’m tired. Most days I’m both — and that’s the beauty of being a woman.

Here’s to women who lead, build, nurture, and rise — again and again.

It’s my birthday and I’m starting something new. 💪

Today I’m not just celebrating another year of life… I’m opening a new chapter — sharing my journey with the world.

The good moments.
The lessons.
The adventures.
The growth.

Life has been moving in such beautiful ways lately, and I’ve decided it’s time to start documenting and sharing the experiences, the travels, the work, and the memories being created along the way.

This page is becoming my little space for real moments, inspiration, adventure, and everything that life unfolds.

And honestly… I feel like this is just the beginning of something really special.

If you’re seeing this, you’re officially part of Day 1 of this new chapter. 🤍

Drop a ❤️ to celebrate with me
and tell me in the comments… where should my next adventure be?

Birthday Girl + International Women’s Day Week = Main Character Energy Activated 🌸.

This year I told myself, “Violet, go where the beach meets the bush.” And boom here I am at Saadani National Park — the only place in Tanzania where you can spot a giraffe and hear ocean waves in the same minute.

Staying around Ushongo Beach entering through Madete Gate — pure peace, soft sand, tropical breeze, and that savanna staying green because the ocean said “I got you.”

Yes, there are animals… but my dear, you must be lucky-lucky 😂🦒
And if you’ve already done the “big five” flex, come here for the soft life version — bush + beach + meditation + self-composure + main character reflection moments.

It’s quiet.
It’s wild.
It’s tropical.
It’s giving “CEO of my own peace.”

Celebrating my birthday week grounded in nature, grace, and powerful woman energy. 💪💪

So proud of the growth happening through

One of our volunteers gained confidence in public speaking, hands-on language teaching experience, and a beautiful connection to our local culture.

This is why I do what I do: creating spaces where young people grow, lead, and shine (with a little joy along the way 😄).

We’re not just running programs. We’re building people.

Rapid No. 9: Commercial Su***de 😅😂🙈
Yeah… we loved our lives and our business too much to try this one 🤦‍♂️🤣🙆‍♀️ Skipped with pride!

A full-day whitewater rafting route on the Zambezi River typically spans 23-30 kilometers of the Batoka Gorge, did 25 intense Class III to V rapids from just below Victoria Falls (Rapid #1) to the designated exit point at #25). This adrenaline-fueled journey includes famous, challenging rapids like The Stairway to Heaven, The Washing Machine, The Terminator, and Oblivion.
