The Macedonian Call Today
We are living in the last days — the final moments before the trumpet of the Lord shall sound. The enemy knows that “he hath but a short time” (Revelation 12:12), and therefore he is working furiously, using every available means in this closing hour to sn**ch as many souls as possible into his kingdom of darkness.
He has employed every tool of the 21st century — technology, entertainment, social media, false religion, and deceitful doctrines — to draw men away from the living God. His agents are busy day and night, while the Church sleeps.
But in the midst of this darkness, there rises a desperate cry — the Macedonian call still echoes today:
“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; there stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.”
— Acts 16:9 (KJV)
That same cry is rising from villages where the Gospel has never been heard, from cities drowned in sin, from homes broken by wickedness, from youth perishing in confusion, and from nations bound by idolatry. “Come over and help us!”
The bell of lost humanity is ringing loud and clear — but, sadly, missionaries are slow to answer. While the servants of Satan — false prophets, corrupt teachers, and deceivers — hurry to fill the vacuum, the true soldiers of the Cross are hesitating, reasoning, and delaying. And while we wait, souls are perishing every second.
Beloved, the call is clear and urgent. The Spirit of God still cries through the ages:
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
— Isaiah 6:8 (KJV)
And the voice of Jesus still commands:
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
— Mark 16:15 (KJV)
If you hear that call today — harden not your heart!
“To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”
— Hebrews 3:15 (KJV)
Do not stop to reason why, do not delay until you feel ready. You may be the very one God has been waiting for — the answer to someone’s prayer, the messenger of life to a dying soul, the light in a dark land.
The hour is late. The harvest field is vast. The Lord Himself declares:
“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
— Matthew 9:37–38 (KJV)
Will you go?
Will you answer the call before it is too late?
The souls of men are crying, the Spirit of God is pleading, and the Savior is waiting.
Do it today — go now — for tomorrow may be too late.
“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
— John 4:35 (KJV)
