Your commitment to advocacy is making a meaningful difference in creating a society where Deaf people can participate fully and equally in all areas of life. Let us continue to stand together, raise our voices, challenge barriers, and ensure that Deaf people are heard, respected, and empowered.

RNUDeaf , in partnership with , is conducting a community-based ear and hearing screening campaign in Ngoma District from 21 september – 30th September 2026.
This initiative is part of RNUDeaf project “Strengthening Inclusive and Comprehensive Ear and Hearing Care Services in Rwanda,” proudly supported by .
Through this campaign, community members will have access to free ear and hearing screenings, helping identify hearing loss and ear conditions early bringing us closer to a more inclusive Rwanda where everyone can access quality hearing healthcare.

RNUDeaf and -WU, with support from through the Local Governance for Poverty Reduction ( ) project, conducted capacity-building dialogues for PWD leaders in Ngoma District , BURERA and Nyabihu District .
The sessions brought together local government, NCPD Rwanda , security, health and social protection stakeholders to strengthen dialogue, participation and collaboration with persons with disabilities.
Together, we identified barriers and explored practical solutions to advance disability inclusion, accessibility and meaningful participation in local governance and service delivery.
