Yesterday in , Rwanda National Union of the Deaf introduced the GIZ Local Governance for Poverty Reduction (RNUD- ) project to the district leaders. During discussions, communication with Deaf people was reported as a big challenge and appreciated the project for including sign language training one of the activities. The district Director and DMO/Social Development department welcomed the project and look forward a fruitful partnership.

Today in Ngoma District, Rwanda National Union of the Deaf together GIZ introduced the Local Governance for Poverty Reduction (Rwanda National Union of the Deaf - ) project to the leaders of Ngoma district. The meeting was graced by the district Mayor who praised the project as a relevant and timely intervention in Ngoma. Other officials thanked GIZ and Rwanda National Union of the Deaf for including Ngoma District on the project.
