EDD is very grateful! At the beginning of March 2026, we successfully replaced the roof sheets of our library block, thanks to donations received from our end-of-year GlobalGiving campaign. These funds helped cover the cost of the roofing, related expenses, and essential needs like student nutrition.

EDD is a non-profit organisation providing high-quality, child-centred education in Rwanda. Our approach, aligned with the Rwandan CBC, combines strong academics with play-based learning, social-emotional learning and the development of 21st Century skills. We aim to nurture children who grow into compassionate, confident individuals who contribute positively to the world.
Our school currently offers Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Lower Primary education, and we are expanding each year as our students progress through the school.
We are looking for a Marketing & Fundraising Officer who will help increase awareness of our work, strengthen relationships with donors and partners, and support fundraising efforts that enable our school to grow and serve more children.
This role involves managing social media, developing marketing content, researching grants and donors, coordinating fundraising campaigns, and sharing the stories of our students and community.
If you are passionate about education and want to help build a school that aims to become a centre of excellence in Rwanda and beyond, we would love to hear from you.

Exciting to join this Mineduc campaign ! It was fun , sanitary and learning opportunity for the children

On 17 January 2026, we successfully completed the Module 2 training sessions.

The training, provided by Teach Rwanda, involved 14 teachers, including 2 new EDD teachers.
EDD was pleased to host 4 sessions in this module, which equipped new teachers with our teaching approaches.

We truly value the strong partnership with Teach Rwanda.
